This current version of the Weapon Guide is segregated into
single and two handed weapons. It is also annotated with a skill designation
whose points might suit its use. This is not all inclusive of weapons available,
but should serve as a useful tool to those that require it.
For more information on weapons, their skill points and how
they are counted, please see the Rules section of the ACC. For information on
Handedness, please see the Character Sheet Guide of the compendium.

Blasters
Single-Handed Pistols/Carbines [Skill Required: Blaster
Pistol/Rifle]
For Dual Handed Use: Blaster
Pistol/Rifle: 5; Strong Hand: 3; Off-Hand: 3
 |
Merr-Sonn 434 "Death Hammer" Modeled on the Merr-Sonn
blaster pistol, the 434 earned its nickname among the bounty
hunters who preferred its solid construction and incredible
stopping power. The 434 was plated with durasteel, making it
heavy to carry, but capable of sustaining heavy fire. Many
bounty hunters notched or decorated their 434 after each
kill, making nearly every single 434 unique. The weapon's
accuracy is low, although it's shooting range is quite wide,
meaning that a sizeable force could be taken down easily. |
|
|
 |
Relby-K23 This blaster pistol shot a bolt
which caused intense pain shortly before targets died from
the blast. The safety on this weapon was prone to failure,
and so it was restricted to military use. The Relby-K23,
however, was used by ISB agents because of it's quick,
stopping power and that it could be fitted with a sound
compressor, if needed. |
|
 |
Westar-34 This Dallorian alloy weapon was
a favored blaster of bounty hunters and other beings who
relied upon surprise to attack their enemies. The Westar-34
was designed for sustained, close-range use, utilizing its
Dallorian construction to absorb more heat than a standard
blaster. In melee situations, the Westar-34 was near
unstoppable in the hands of an experienced owner. Jango Fett,
for example, used two of these pistols. |
|
|
 |
BlasTech DL-18 A sleek, hand-held blaster built by
Blas-Tech. They were quite plentiful during the later years
of the Empire, and often found their way into the hands of
the Alliance. One of the many places that saw a flood of
DL-18s was the planet Tatooine, and the weapon earned the
nickname "Mos Eisley Special." |
|
 |
DH-17 The DH-17 was
an example of a typical blaster pistol, and was a
standard-issue military sidearm in the Imperial Navy, the
Alliance to Restore the Republic and the New Republic
Defense Fleet. A short-range combat weapon, and also
effective at medium ranges the DH-17 had an optimum range of
thirty meters, but its armor-piercing blaster bolts were
still effective, though somewhat less accurate at up to four
times that distance. A semiautomatic weapon, it could also
be modified to fire in short bursts and had a low-power stun
setting, capable of knocking a human out for up to ten
minutes. However, setting the weapon to full automatic fire
drained the power pack in less than twenty seconds, and the
wielder ran the risk of overheating the internal components
and causing an explosive overload. |
|
|
 |
BlasTech DL-44 The BlasTech DL-44 was one of
the most popular weapons BlasTech ever produced. While its
design gave it a short range, the DL-44 was extremely
powerful for a hand-held weapon. Among its distinguishing
features was its "cautionary pulser" grip, which provided a
slight vibration to the user's gun-hand when the powerpack
was getting low. The weapon, which was copied by Merr-Sonn's
Flash 4 pistol and by Imperial Munitions, gained its
popularity due to the fact that Han Solo used a modified
version of this type of blaster. |
|
|
 |
Tenloss DX-2
This was the designation of a
disruptor pistol produced by the Tenloss Syndicate during
the New Order. Like other disruptor weapons, the DX-2 fired
an energy blast that caused the target's molecules to become
excited and lose cohesion, leading to the utter annihilation
of the target. This disintegrative effect made them illegal
in most parts of the galaxy, but Tenloss managed to continue
to produce them for many decades. |
|
|
 |
Merr-Sonn IR-5 "Intimidator"
This was the brand name of the
Merr-Sonn Munitions' IR-5 blaster pistol. The
fully-automatic Intimidator lacked a strong punch, but could
fire off an incredible amount of blasts in a short period of
time. It was a bulky weapon which was quite expensive for
its features, so it found acceptance only in certain wealthy
circles. |
|
 |
MWC Enforcer This projectile pistol was
produced by the Morellian Weapons Conglomerate. It is larger
than a slugthrower and has a heavy recoil action, which made
rapid fire extremely erratic. MWC produced armament for the
Morellian Enforcers during the Old Republic. As Morellian
technology was far behind that of the modern galaxy, MWC
produced a variety of slugthrowers and projectile pistols
and rifles. |
|
|
 |
SoroSuub ELG-3A
Known as the "Diplomat's
Blaster", the SoroSuub ELG-3A was part of a line of weapons
produced for bodyguards and political operatives. Sleek and
easily hidden, the ELG-3A provided the power of a pistol
with the size of a hold-out blaster. It was primarily
marketed as a defensive weapon, capable of stunning an
attacker with limited collateral damage. Like the Relby
K-23, ISB agents used this pistol in field operations. |
|
|
 |
Merr-Sonn J1 "Happy
Surprise" Produced by Merr-Sonn
Munitions, the J1 was a holdout blaster known to many as the
Happy Surprise. The weapon's name is Rodian was Kheth-saw,
and it was named for the weapon's unusual configuration,
which made it incredibly easy to hide. Unlike most blaster
weapons which had a hand grip and a trigger, the J1 fit
entirely within the palm of the hand. The barrel stuck out
from between the second and third fingers, making it easy to
carry in a clenched hand without arousing suspicion. The
trigger was mounted at the top of the weapon, and was
depressed with the thumb. |
|
 |
Bryar Pistol
Actually a modified Bryar rifle with its stock and muzzle
sawed down, the Bryar pistol was a fairly standard,
relatively accurate blaster. The gun had one additional
feature, however: the ability to "charge up" and fire one
large blast as opposed to faster, weaker shots. This had no
detrimental effects on the gun or its accuracy, but it did
consume ammunition at a much higher rate than normal. The
Bryar was incredibly accurate at long distances. |
|
 |
B22 Imperial This hold-out blaster, produced
by Merr-Sonn during the height of the Galactic Civil War,
was generally considered the smallest such weapon ever
produced. It was a powerful weapon, despite its size. Known
as the Imperial or, in some circles, the 'Little Emperor',
the B22 was originally produced for Imperial agents who
needed an easily-concealed weapon. |
|
 |
PRP-502 Hold-out Dart
Shooter Another Prax Arms product, the Protector
PRP-502 hold-out shooter, was a small, light, hold-out dart
shooter. This weapon had a range of only about twenty-five
meters, but could be broken down into four pieces for easy
concealment and transportation. Like the Stealth-2VX palm
shooter, it was a spring-powered weapon. |
|
 |
Q2 Hold-out Blaster
The Q2 hold-out blaster was a blaster manufactured by
Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc during the time of the Galactic
Republic. It was based on the ELG-3A blaster pistol produced
by SoroSuub Corporation. Small enough to be concealed in the
hand of a Human, the Q2 hold-out blaster was common among
undercover agents and those beings wishing to use a
low-profile weapon. Due to its size, many systems declared
this pistol illegal, while others had its usage closely
regulated. Other star systems tended view it as a
"self-defense" alternative to the other, more powerful
personal blasters. |
|
 |
Q4 "Quickfire" The
Merr-Sonn Model Q4 "Quickfire" was a hold-out blaster. The
Quickfire was intended to be designed around a power pack
rather than energy cells like most hold-out blasters are.
Unlike a previous model that attempted this – the lackluster
BlasTech HSB-200 – the Quickfire succeeded in doing this. As
a result, the Quickfire did not reload like most hold-out
blasters (by replacing spent energy cells); it had to hook
up to a power source via a special cable included with the
weapon. This recharge took only ten minutes. Not only did
the Quickfire have more shots per recharge, it also did more
damage per shot than most hold-outs. It did have a weakness,
however, which was its range – even shorter than usual for a
hold-out blaster. |

|
Two-Handed; Rifles/Carbines [Skill Required: Blaster Pistol/Rifle]
*Note: None of these weapons may be
used at the same time, i.e. 'dual wielded'.
|
 |
BlasTech 500 ESPO "Riot Gun" This is BlasTech's version of the riot gun,
produced for use by the Corporate Sector Authority during the early
years of the New Order. A short-barreled rifle with an open-frame
stock, the BlasTech 500 was designed to be powerful, but not
necessarily accurate. Developed to help CSA Security officers
control large mobs, the 500 came to epitomize "Corporate Sector
logic" in the minds of many beings: when in doubt, shoot into a
crowd. |
|
 |
BlasTech E-11 BlasTech military laser weapon used by Imperial
storm troopers, it has a quarter-centimeter aperture. It can be
fired continuously, but only at low-power settings. In the height of
the Galactic Civil War, BlasTech E-11's were so heavily produced
that, between stolen shipments and weapons scavenged from
battlefields, the Alliance had almost as many of these rifles as the
Empire. The weapon was cloned by SoroSuub as the Storm trooper One
rifle. The E-11's reliability and heavy production means that it is
now perhaps the most commonly used rifle in the galaxy. |
|
 |
Prax-Arms AXM-50 A rapid-fire weapon capable of both deadly
accuracy and incredible stopping power. The AXM-50 was designed for
Special Operations units during the Civil War and are still
produced. The Rebel Alliance often added a Locris Syndicates MGL-1
micro-grenade launcher to the AXM-50, creating a formidable weapon
capable of breaking through a barrier with its grenades, then
allowing the user to lay down suppression fire to any enemies who
emerged. Soldiers commonly referred to these kinds of weapons as
"blast and smash" rifles. |
|
 |
SoroSuub GLX "Firelance" This is a SoroSuub blaster rifle. It is
unmarked, lacking any form of corporate or governmental markings,
which allowed the weapon to be untraceable if lost. It was also a
very effective weapon when used in stun mode, which was something of
a rarity among blaster rifles. While the Firelance was marketed as
"the most effective weapon available for freelance enforcement
officials", it was specifically built for use by bounty hunters.
|
|
 |
Imperial "StarAnvil" Heavy Rifle Produced by Imperial Munitions, the Imperial
Army's in-house weaponsmiths, the StarAnvil heavy blaster rifle was
developed to cause large amounts of damage. However, this ability
drained the weapon's power packs quickly, making the StarAnvil a
weapon of fear more than firepower. Many weapons experts considered
this weapon in the same vein as the BlasTech Longblasters, although
the StarAnvil was considered much more accurate and powerful. The
original StarAnvil production plant on Cuthbern was quickly annexed
by the Empire because of its high quality. |
|
|
 |
Repeater 3Z Rifle Used by Stormtrooper sergeants in battle and
Imperial Commando units, the Repeater rifle was a mainstay in almost
any Imperial facility and starship. The Repeater had two rates of
fire; a rapid-fire action and three-salvo, triangular rate off fire.
However, the Repeater did drain energy cells quickly with it's
rapid-fire action. |
|
|
 |
DC-15 Now an antique, the DC-15 was the
standard-issue blaster weapon provided by the Old Republic to the
cloned troopers developed on Kamino. The DC-15 could be configured
as a simpler blaster, or outfitted with a longer stock and an
accelerating barrel to create a blaster rifle. These weapons were
first used during the Battle of Geonosis. |
|
 |
BlasTech DL-87 "Firespray" This was the model number of BlasTech's
Firespray blaster, a deck-clearing weapon known for its ability to
deliver a wide fire arc with sustained power. The weapon, originally
rejected by the Imperial Navy because of its perceived short range
and low rate of fire, was not so much aimed as it was swept across
its target. |
|
 |
BlasTech DLT-20A The DLT-20A was a blaster rifle
manufactured by BlasTech Industries during the Galactic Civil War.
This weapon was commonly used by the stormtroopers of the Galactic
Empire. The notorious droid bounty hunter, IG-88, was also known to
use this weapon. The BlasTech DLT-20A blaster rifle was a
long-barreled rifle (sometimes referred to as a 'longblaster') with
a top-mounted rangefinder and electronic sight. This was one of the
few blaster models produced with a magnatomic adhesion grip, keeping
the weapon firmly in the wielder's grip. |
|
 |
BlasTech A280 One of the best armor-piercing blasters
produced during the Galactic Civil War, the Blas-Tech A280 rifle was
reputed to be able to cut a fully-armored stormtrooper in half.
Several of these rifles were stolen by one of the Rebel Alliance's
agents and brought to the Alliance shortly before the Battle of
Endor. This weapon, along with its predecessor the DLT-20A, was
marketed as Longblasters. The A280 was different from the DLT-20A in
that its galvanic circuits were clustered near the focusing crystal,
giving the weapon a slight bulge at the midsection. This also
provided the A280 with more power over a longer range. |
|
 |
Merr-Sonn Concussion Rifle Used primarily by the Trandoshan bounty hunters
of the Fringe, the Concussion Rifle is one of the heaviest
troop-minded weapons in the galaxy. Developed by Merr-Sonn, the
Concussion Rifle, or the "Conker", was it was sometimes referred to,
would fire a large projectile and explode in a wide radius upon
impact. Only those with a strong, physical capability should attempt
to use this. |
|
 |
Stokhli Spray Stick Originally created by the Stokhli
nomads on the planet Manress, Stokhli spray sticks served as
effective long-range stun weapons, and were first employed for big
game hunting. These weapons had enough power to knock out large
animals like gundarks, making them very popular among hunters. The
sticks operated by shooting a mist to an optimum range of 100 meters
and a maximum range of up to 200 meters. A thumb trigger adjusted
the range finder to set how quickly the net formed, a dial set the
width of the net, and a control button could alter the intensity of
the stun charge. As the net wrapped around its target, it delivered
a stun charge. The strength of the net combined with the powerful
electrical stun was generally able to completely immobilize a person
or an animal. |
|
 |
SoroSuub X-45 This was the designation of SoroSuub's military
sniper rifle, produced during the New Order. The X-45 was an attempt
to have a pwoerful weapon which also had greater accuracy over
longer distances. The energy beam it produced was overfocused in the
barrle, making it thinner but also more lethal. The X-45 was
originally marketed as a civilian weapon known as the Riflette, but
most of its sales came from assassins and bounty hunters. Thus, it
was re-classified as a military weapon and designated the X-45. |
|
 |
Xerrol Nightstinger Produced by Xerrol, the Nightstinger was a
first-rate sniper rifle. It was well-known among weapons experts for
the fact that it fires an invisible bolt. Despite this advantage,
the weapon had several drawbacks. First, a canister of the special
blster gas it required cost well over 1,000 credits. Second, each
canister had only enough gas for up to five shots before it had to
be replaced. Lastly, the canisters were specially designed, and only
fit in certain weapons. It was created by the Empire for use in
taking out specific targets. |
|
 |
Carbonite Gun
Carbonite guns were weapons that fired a short stream of
carbonite, and were capable of coating targets, rendering
them imobile and defenseless. During that time the target
could be attacked without a chance for self-defense, or in
some cases, simply be smashed by a blow from the weapons'
reinforced butt. After a few moments, however, they would
thaw, and there was no sign of hibernation sickness. The
enemy could easily attack as if nothing had happened. |
|
 |
CR-24 Flame Rifle The
CR-24 flame rifle was an incendiary weapon produced by
Merr-Sonn Munitions. Its Czerka counterpart was known as the
CZ-24 Flamemaster. The fire range has a range of 10 meters,
considered short in the galaxy. However, the CR-24 is
perfect for close combat. |
|
 |
N'Gant-Zarvel 9118 Carbine
The 9118 was a heavy carbine design manufactured by the
Rodian owned N'Gant-Zarvel Corporation. Sporting a short
barrel, the weapon was known for its ease of use, stopping
power and exceptional range (for a carbine). This carbine
saw its primary use in the field as the preferred service
weapon of Special Forces and guerilla fighters, despite the
loud, trademarked "thumping" sound it produced when it was
fired. |
| |
|
Blades
Single-Handed, Short Bladed Weapons [Skill Required: Dagger/Vibroshiv]
For Dual Handed Use: Dagger/Vibroshiv:
5; Strong Hand: 3; Off-Hand: 4
|
 |
Dagger A standard dagger was usually
crafted out of durasteel or an alloy that could maintain an
edge (its sharpness) for quite some time under normal use. A
trait of all daggers is their versatility, from stabbing to
slashing and even blocking other bladed weapons (except
lightsabres) when wielded by a skilled fighter. |
|
|
 |
Echani Knife Used by warriors practicing the now-lost
martial art of Echani, the Echani knife had a small blade, roughly
about five centimeters, it's hilt could be modified to suit the
user. The blade, in order to be effective, had to be razor sharp.
Even the slightest knick could tear even the toughest skin. In most
cases, Echani warriors used two knives instead of one, although it
was not uncommon for just one. The Echani knife was not made for
throwing, but could be under the right circumstances. |
|
|
 |
Litch-Blade A bone-chilling and terrifying weapon, this
dagger had a distinctly evil-looking curved blade, and a hilt
riddled with
spikes and other cutting surfaces. |
|
|
 |
Punch-Dagger These small specialized dagger were made to
forcefully extend as it was plunged into the enemy, causing a heavy
deal of internal damage, often staying caught into the body and the
organs. |
|
|
 |
Ryyk Kerarthorr
This was a modified form of the
Ryyk Blade
used by the Wookiee race. Instead of having the blade mounted inline
with the handle, the ryyyk kerarthorr had its handle mounted at a
ninety-degree angle to the blade. In this way, a Wookiee warrior
could wield a pair of these blades held close to his or her body.
These knives have proved popular with fighters in unlicensed brawls
in starports and gambling-friendly planets in the Outer Rim. |
|
|
 |
Vibroknuckler Produced by Czerka, this was a form of
vibroblade which was mounted to a grip which allowed it to be used
in bare-fisted combat. The grip had four holes for each of the
fingers on the human hand, and the blade was mounted across the top.
A cutting blow could be made by punching out at a target. |

 |
Darkstick
Skill: Dagger/Vibroshiv and Shurikens/Thrown Weapons |
This
Kerestian weapon resembles a flat piece of metal about two centimeters
thick, seven centimeters wide, and fifteen centimeters long.
One end is rounded, the other is squared off. This part of
the weapon is the handle, and has a power stud located about
midway along its length. When depressed, the stud activates
the weapon, extruding a pure black blade of light that bends
slightly as it projects outward. The activated weapon
resembles a boomerang, and can be wielded in the hand or
thrown. The deep black blade will cut through most any
material, making it difficult to catch when thrown. |
|
 |
Locust Knives
Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons |
Miniscule blades that were usually attached to
either the thighs or the arms of Bunduki monks by a small, leather
band, locust knives were, perhaps, the most effective throwing
knives in the known galaxy. The blade was too small and too sharp to
be effectively used against another blade. Bunduki monks harnessed
their upper-body strength and muscle so that the velocity at which
these knives were thrown could pierce skin, glass and in some cases,
weak metal. |
|
 |
Rodian Throwing Razor
Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons |
A wickedly-sharp blade used by Rodian bounty
hunters. It has an aerodynamic shape, allowing it to be thrown at a
target with great accuracy. Certain models were equipped with a tiny
repulsorlift engine, which enhanced the razor's range and accuracy.
However, the throwing razor was not limited to use by Rodians. The
throwing razor was even slightly adapted for use by Bunduki-Tëras
Kasi warriors. |
|
 |
Shurikens Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons |
Shurikens are nothing more than what some might call
‘throwing stars’. They are flat, bladed (sometimes decorative) metal weapons
meant to be thrown at their targets. They come in various shapes and sizes, but
all variations are created in a manner that makes their flight plausible by the
user. |
|
|
 |
Ball Bearings/Durasteel
Skill: Shurikens/Trown Weapons |
Small durasteel spheres,
approximately one-quarter inch. Especially deadly if, when
thrown, they are accelerated by the Force. Other than that,
they are a simple weapon and usually carried in small
pouches of 15. |
|
 |
Morgukai Glaive
Skill: Shurikens/Trown Weapons |
While primitive on the surface,
the glaives of the Nikto Morgukai can be deadly when used by
a professional. Small enough to be hidden in a boot or
sleeve, they are immune to dampening fields and EMP and are
maintenance free, extremely cheap and most importantly,
silent. Used at close range by a skilled thrower they can
prove more accurate than a blaster and just as deadly. |
|
 |
CS-12 Stun Master
Skill: Dagger/Vibroshiv |
The CS-12 Stun Master is a
primarily defensive weapon which produces an extremely
intense electrical shock when it encountered flesh, there by
incapacitating the receiver with minimal long term harm. It
resembles a tiny lightsaber and has more than once been
incorrectly recognized as one, to the good or ill fortune of
the wielder. It was designed for civilian use in
self-defense, but has found a niche in several criminal
organizations and special operations groups across the
galaxy. |
|
 |
Knuckler
Skill: Hand to Hand |
Augmented with a small amount
of shaped vertex above each knuckle, this weapon could wield
a nasty surprise when the wearer found himself challenged.
Considered low-class, they nevertheless find a great market
among those new to the lowlife. *No additional skill
required for Dual Use |
|
|
|
|
Single Handed, Long Blade [Skill Required: Sword]
For Dual Handed Use: Sword: 5; Strong
Hand: 3; Off-Hand: 4
| |
 |
Blastsword The typical Blastsword consisted of a meter
long blade, with a rounded guard protecting the hilt. The curved
blade was sharp to the tip, though it ended resembling a flared
nozzle instead of the regular point. When the weapon contacted to a
solid objected, it would emit a blast of energy. The blast’s color
would defer from weapon to weapon, enforcing individuality of
warriors. |
|
 |
Energy Sword Developed and produced exclusively on the
planet Velmor, this ancient weapon was known for its ceremonial
appearance as well as its deadly precision. The energy sword was
simply a very fine blade which had been charged with focused plasma
energy. This plasma energy was created by a power cell hidden in the
hilt of the sword, and focused through a pair of velmorite crystals.
Because of the energy that coursed up and down the blade, energy
swords repelled each other when brought together in a duel,
requiring that the wielder be quite skilled in their usage.
Velmorian traditions long held that duels should be settled with
energy swords, with the victor decapitating their opponent with the
blade at the end of the duel. While similar in many respects to the
lightsaber of the Jedi Knights, the energy sword was no match for
the Jedi weapon.
|
|
 |
Fira This was the traditional weapon used by the
members of the Order of Shasa, on the planet Manaan. It was a curved
sword which each member of the Order of Shasa had to forge on their
own. The
forging of a Fira was a time-consuming and dangerous project, since
the metal had to be shaped and annealed in the heat
of underwater volcanic vents. Unfortunately, none of the Fira swords
available to the Combat Centre were made with cortosis. |
|
 |
Katana
The exact origins of the katana are unknown.
Most races, somewhere in their culture, have use for the katana. It
is rumored that eons ago, the first Jedi built the katana -
although this theory has never been proven. The katana has the same
length as a standard lightsaber, except the blade is made of steel,
not Adegan energy. In general terms, no one katana is alike. Most
warriors will build their own sword, much like a Jedi builds their
own lightsaber. Because of that fact, the basic structure of the
katana blade remains the same, but the details vary from sword to
sword. |
|
 |
LaserHone Duelist This weapon is a strengthened Vibro-rapier,
created by LaserHone during the rise of the New Order. These weapons
are often used by Jedi apprentices, as this light-weight weapon remotely
promotes the use of the duelist style of saber fighting. |
Two Handed, Long Blade [Skill Required: Sword]
*Note: None of these weapons may be
used at the same time, i.e. 'dual wielded'.
| |
 |
Krath War Blade This huge sword was twisted by the Dark Side of
the Force, and was one of the most deadly weapons used by the Krath
during the Great Sith War. Many a Jedi fell to the Dark Jedi and
their swinging blades, all at least a meter long and filled with
their owners anger and hate. It still posed no threat to to a
lightsabre, despite it's dark aura, but in the hands of a
skilled warrior it was still deadly. While it cannot deflect
blaster bolts, like the Sith sword, it's users have been
found to be hard 'targets' where an opponent's Force attacks
are concerned. |
|
 |
Obelisk Fury A large sword weighted to half
opponents without remorse, the Obelisk Fury is an imposing
weapon. It requires strength and skill to wield effectively,
but has the ability to render light armor virtually useless.
It is said that the rage of the Obelisk warrior lives in the
hilt of the weapon and offers a clarity in combat that is
unmatched by any other Order. |
|
 |
Sith Sword An alchemically altered, long, curved
blade attached to an ordinary sword hilt, the Sith sword was rarely a match for a lightsaber,
even when wielded by a trained Sith warrior. The weapon's alterations
allow the blade to deflect blaster bolts (but does not grant
that ability to the user, outright, it is a trait of the
weapon itself), just as lightsabers themselves do, but the similarities end there.
However, the blade focuses the Force energy of the user,
giving the edge an unnatural sharpness. As the wielder grows
more proficient in the power of the dark side, the blade
becomes more deadly. These swords are not to be confused
with the rare artifact swords created during the golden age
of the Sith, 5000 years ago. The ancient swords are rare and
not used in the ACC. |
|
 |
Sc'rath
This was the name of the traditional Togorian
scimitar. They were rarely seen off Togoria, and commanded a high
price among collectors and weapons aficionados because of their
high-quality materials and excellent craftsmanship. |
|
 |
Shyarn This was the traditional dueling scimitar used
by the Cerean race. Its name was derived from an ancient word
meaning "dancer", and described the sinuous curve found in the
scimitar's blade. Made from metals found only on Cerea, the shyarn
was a light weapon that required a certain amount of skill and
finesse to wield. The martial art form shyarn-ado evolved to teach
Cereans who to fight and defend with a shyarn. The metals in the
blade have unique magnetic properties, which added to the skill
necessary to use it. When two shyarn blades struck each other, the
impact created vibrations which increased its natural magnetic
forces, locking the blades together and forcing the wielders to move
in intricate steps to free the blades. Strength and control were
needed to break the connection without losing possession of the
shyarn. |

|
Two-Handed; Pole Weapons [Skill Required:
Quarterstaff/Pole Weapons]
*Note: None of these weapons may
be used at the same time, i.e. 'dual wielded'. |
|
 |
Arg’garok The Arg’garok is the traditional axe used by
Gamorrean warriors. A solid and heavy hand-axe, it was often plunged
into a heavy metallic liquid that would strengthen its blade. The
blade is often marked by ritual runes meant to inspire the warriors
in battle. Though a strong weapon, it was built for the short and
heavy mass of the pig-like warriors, making them difficult for other
taller and thinner races to wield as effectively. |
|
 |
B'hedda
This was the traditional weapon of the Dug
race, developed for hunting while hanging in the trees, and
created for their unique physiology. The main shaft of the
weapon was meter-long wooden handle, and at the end was a
wicked, hooked blade. This blade served two purposes. First,
it was an effective weapon. Second, it could be used to help
the Dug climb higher into the trees. At the opposite end of
the handle from the blade was a small scoop, which could be
used to fling a bang-cap or other projectile. |
|
 |
Force Pike Standard melee and ceremonial
weapon for the Imperial Royal guard. A forcepike is a
vibroenhanced weapon which can easily slice an opponent in
pieces, and with a a dual mode stun setting that can knock
out a wookie... or, possibly, kill. It is made of very
strong spun graphite and bends under pressure. The pike is
also used by Radiation Zone Troopers and occasionally other
troops. |

Quarterstaff A two handed weapon, this category usually refers to
wooden, pole-like weapons from quarterstaff’s to pikes that are usually equal to
or greater in height than the user. Quarterstaff’s are plain staff weapons,
while most others are a quarterstaff that is topped with a blade of some type,
like Halberd’s, Glaive’s or a Voulge. The quarterstaff can be a fluid weapon that users can
handle with grace and elegance. However, it is also a weapon of reach advantage
and fairly powerful strikes when wielded properly. This weapon type can also be
classed as a 'dual purpose" weapon, but is segregated into "melee" for it's
basic usage principles. |

Selonian Glaive
This heavy weapon was developed by the Selonian
race, and was the primary weapon used in combat. The shaft (hilt) of
the glaive was formed from heavy wood. At one end of the glaive was
an obsidian blade, while the other end sported a collection of
obsidian hooks and barbs. Each glaive was created by an individual
Selonian female, who proved herself worthy of wielding it by
locating the materials herself. |

 |
BD-1 Cutter The BD-1 uses a hollow durasteel shaft with
internal dampeners which absorb vibrations from the ax blade. The
high-powered ax head can slice though armor plating like rotting
cloth, and the quick release switch allows the fighter to replace a
damaged blade in seconds. Six power cells permit up to eight hours
of continuous use, and the intensity switch allows the fighter to
determine precisely how much damage the blade will cause. The
weapons are sturdy and feature superior weight distribution for
better handling. |
|
 |
Void Spear
Developed by the Chestrashi race, this
biological spear appeared to be a hollow, metal shaft with a
serrated blade on the front and a set of guidance vanes at the tail.
However, when the blade struck living flesh, it began to break down,
releasing thousands of toxic microbes into the target's body. These
microbes attacked the nervous system and skeleton of the target,
causing a rapid debilitation which was much more devastating that
the simple penetration of the blade. The Void Spear is, quite
possibly, one of the deadliest blade weapons available in the ACC. |

Advanced Two-Handed; Pole Weapons [Skill Required:
Quarterstaff/Pole Weapons]
Minimum Skill
Required; Quarterstaff/Pole Weapons 5; Strong Hand 4;
Off-Hand 5
*Note: None of these weapons may
be used at the same time, i.e. 'dual wielded'. |
 |
Electrostaff
The electrostaff, built by
Baktoid Armor Workshop, was an electronic melee weapon
equipped with electromagnetic pulse-generating tips. They
were designed to be longer than most lightsaber blades,
enabling the user to fight Jedi while remaining out of the
Jedi's range. The Confederacy of Independent Systems used
electrostaff-wielding droids, known as IG-100 MagnaGuards to
help General Grievous fight Jedi during the Clone Wars. The
entire length of the staff can fully combat a lightsabre, in
addition to
the pulse-generating tips, but they require a high level of
skill to be employed properly and may fare poorly against
some sabre forms, dual sabres and dual bladed sabres. |

Iridonian Double-Bladed Fighting Pike (Zhaboka) This weapon, known in the Zabrak language as
the Zhaboka, was first developed by scavenging wooden sticks and
metal scraps from shipwrecks. Over the centuries, the zhaboka
evolved into a well-balanced, two-meter-long staff that was tipped
at each end with a tempered durasteel blade. The central half-meter
of the staff was wrapped in leather to provide better grip. Its
original use was for killing the predators found on Iridonia,
although many modern pikes were ceremonial weapons. The entire pike
could be unlocked at the grip and stored in a a scabbard for easier
transport. |

 |
Jengardin Double-Bladed Vibroblade The Jengardin
double-bladed vibroblade was a type of vibroblade manufactured by
Yalandross PowerMasters. Its full model name was "Yalandross
PowerMasters Jengardin Millennial Warrior double-bladed vibroblade".
It is extremely powerful, and very brutal, since it had cleaved
edges, enabling the user to literally disembowel its enemies. |

Tethered Weapons
[Skill Required: Whip/Tethered Weapons]
For Dual Handed use;
Whip/Tethered Weapons: 5; Strong Hand: 4; Off-Hand: 5
|
 |
Chain Whip It consists of several metal rods, which
are joined end-to-end by rings to form a flexible chain.
Generally, the whip has a handle at one end and a metal
dart, used for slashing or piercing an opponent, at the
other. |
|
 |
Dematoil
This weapon was the typical cudgel weapon,
resembling a modified Morningstar or mace. Its heavy silvered
spheres were made of heavy spikes. A sturdy, and devastating
weapon, these weapons became very rare with the fall of the Old
Republic. Due to it's erratic nature, this is a two handed weapon. |
|
 |
Whip Usually some type of “chorded” weapon, the whip is
versatile and unique. A practiced user can ‘snap’ gouges into an opponent from a
distance or use the whip to entangle and snare an opponent as well. It can be
used for disarming an opponent by these methods but otherwise possesses no real
defenses. Materials range from dried and tanned animal hide to synthetics like
alloys and some plasticel derivatives. |

Lightsabres and Other Weapons [Skill Required:
Lightsabre and applicable forms]
Knowledge of Dual Handed use for lightsabres,
as well as sabre staffs, is governed by the sabre forms
themselves (i.e. Jar'Kai Niman, Shien) and not by the ACC.
However, the ACC makes concessions for the employment of
sabres in tandem with other weapons, such as a sabre and a
dagger. Understand that, in some cases, you should consider
accuracy/skill to be impaired considering the nature of a
lightsabre and the skill required to use it.

Explosives
Note: Must have at least one point in "Thrown Weapons" to bring any explosives or grenades into an ACC battle.
 |
Burrowing Detonator Skill:
Shurikens/Thrown Weapons |
A mobile, robotic explosive is used to mine
open areas. They have a limited range, but their mobility allows
them to be set down in an area and they disperse themselves. Like
standard landmines, they bury themselves just below the surface and
lie waiting for someone to step on them. Unlike landmines, they can
also move periodically, making their recovery nearly impossible.
|
|
 |
Merr-Sonn Stun Grenade
Skill:
Shurikens/Thrown Weapons |
A spherical bomb with a 10 m
blast radius. Anyone caught in the blast is potentially
rendered unconscious for about fifteen minutes. Often used
for crowd control. |
|
 |
Adhesive Grenade
Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons |
A grenade which covers a 4m
area in a bio-adhesive glue which can effectively trap
anyone in the target area. It dissipates in only 15 seconds. |
|
 |
Firecracker Mine Skill: None
|
This form of weapon uses a group of small
charges combined into a single mine. When activated, the firecracker
mine sets off several small explosions which are used more for
distraction than destruction. |
|
 |
Fragmentation Grenade Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons
|
Standard fragmentation grenade.
The metal shell becomes hot splinters when the grenade
explodes, which makes frag grenades much more lethal than
concussion grenades against unarmored infantry. |
|
 |
G-20 Glop Grenade Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons
|
Manufactured by Merr-Sonn, these detonation
devices release a chemical foam when triggered. The foam has
incredible adhesive properties, and clings to everything it touches.
When lobbed into a mob or battle phalanx, glop grenades can quickly
immobilize attackers. It required a special "glop dissolver" agent,
often in aerosol form, to remove the glop. |
|
 |
Plasma Grenade Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons
|
An explosive device which used ionized plasma
gas to created a localized detonation. These grenades release a
quick burst of the incendiary agent to ignite immediately
and cause severe thermal damage. |
|
 |
Poison Grenade Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons
|
Developed more than 4,000 years before the
Galactic Civil War, this form of explosive device released a
chemical poison into the air when it exploded. This poison could be
of many forms, from deadly vapors to toxic liquid, although it was
usually a fast-acting poison that killed any being that was sprayed
in the explosion. The ACC versions are considerably tamer, often
causing most combatants to become violently sick rather than causing
death. |
|
 |
Shock Grenade Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons
|
An explosive device which uses shock waves,
instead of shrapnel, to cause damage. |
|
 |
Thermal Detonator Skill: Shurikens/Thrown Weapons
|
A round bomb used by smugglers
and mercenaries. They are essentially a casing which contained a shaped
charge of baradium. The use of baradium made the weapon extremely
dangerous, even for the being who threw it, as the element
was highly unstable. Depending on the size of the charge, a
thermal detonator would essentially atomize all material
within a spherical area centered on the charge itself.
Anything outside the range of the blast sphere remained
virtually untouched. |
|
 |
Sonic Grenade
Skill: Shuriken/thrown Weapons |
These grenades explode loudly,
but the majority of the effect is delivered in disorienting
frequencies that the ear can barely perceive even as it is
damaged. While not as harmful as other grenade types, it can
prove very confusing for the enemy and slow them down
considerably. |
|
 |
Cryoban Grenade
Skill: Shuriken/Thrown weapons |
A vicious weapon that collects
and freezes any moisture in an area so swiftly that the
resulting violent explosion sends shards of ice in all
directions. Due to the extreme temperature shift, beings can
be slowed exceedingly. |
