Star Fighters
 |
A-9 Vigilance Interceptor
Length: 7.4m
Hull: 15 RU
Shield: None
Weapons: Two turbolaser cannons
Hyperdrive: None
Sub light: Fast
Maneuverability: 97 DPF |
A fast, highly maneuverable star fighter built
by Kuat Drive Yards, the A-9 was pulled out of the design archives
in order to help fill the gap left by the loss of so many TIE
Fighters during the Galactic Civil War. Intended to compete with
fast fighters such as the A-wing and TIE Interceptor, the A-9 has an
impressive propulsion system, but lacks strong hull plating or
shielding. To offset this, the A-9 has laser cannons that are
significantly more powerful that most fighters. |
|
 |
A-Wing
Length: 9.6m
Hull: 15 RU
Shield: 50 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Concussion Missile Launchers (6 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sub light: Very Fast
Maneuverability: 97 DPF |
A-Wing is the generalized name
of the Dodonna/Blissex RZ-1 Starfighter. It is a flat,
one-man, wedged-shaped snub fighter built for the Alliance
after the loss of the Hoth base and prior to the Battle of
Endor. A unique feature of the A-wing is the short
hydro-servo bearing installed in each wingtip, allowing the
pilot to tilt the laser cannons up to 60 degrees up or down.
It has limited navcom capabilities, being able to calculate
only 2 jumps before requiring recalibration |
|
 |
Assault Gunboat
Length: 6.3m
Hull: 28 RU
Shield: 100 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons |
Two Ions Cannons |
Two Proton Torpedo Launchers (4 torpedoes each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 78 DPF
|
Its unique five-wing design
enables the Assault Gunboat to excel in atmosphere or deep
space. The Assault Gunboat is an ideal escort craft, and
with its heavy shielding and strong armament, the Star Wing
is deadly when attacking convoys and capital ships. |
|
 |
B-Wing
Length: 16.9m
Hull: 60 RU
Shield: 125 SBD
Weapons: 3 Laser Cannons |
3 Ions Cannons |
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers (6 torpedoes each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 70 DPF
|
The B-Wing (the B stands for
blade) looks like a flying cross, with the control pod at
the top, retractable wings at the sides, and laser guns at
the top and bottom. The canopy is also gyroscopically
leveled by a unique stabilization mechanism that allows the
entire ship to rotate around the canopy. This is difficult
to maintain, and can leave the pilot disoriented if it locks
up. It is limited to two hyperspace jumps before the navcom
requires recalibration. |
|
 |
Cloakshape Starfighter
Length: 15m
Hull: 28 RU
Shield: 96 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Concussion Missile Launcher (3 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 1.5
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 73 DPF |
Assault starfighter. One of
many older starfighters now mostly used by smugglers,
pirates, bounty hunters and other groups. Trades speed for
durability. |
|
 |
Chiss Clawcraft Length: 7.5m
Hull: 14 RU
Shield: 40 SBD
Weapons: Four Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: Class 1.5
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 91 DPF |
This form of starfighter is developed by the Chiss in the
early years of the peace accord between the Imperial Remnant
and the New Republic. Named for their appearance, clawcraft
are constructed from the cockpit and engines of a standard
TIE Fighter. Instead of solar panels for wings, the
clawcraft has four curved, arm-like projections sprouting
from the sides of the cockpit, each tipped with a laser
cannon.
|
|
 |
E-Wing
Length: 11.2m
Hull: 30 RU
Shield: 75 SBD
Weapons: 3 Laser Cannons |
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers (8 torpedoes each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 94 DPF
|
This starfighter, which employs
the R7 astromech droid, visually looks like the X-Wing but
with a pair of stable wings. It dishes out punishment and
can take it equally well. It uses the R7 droid to take
advantage of a redesigned hyperdrive system. |
|
 |
Firespray Attack Ship
Length: 16m
Hull: 62 RU
Shield: 102 SBD
Weapons: Two Dual Laser Cannons |
Two Concussion Missile Launcher (2 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 75 DPF
|
Built for speed and stealth, it
was originally marketed as a patrol and
law-enforcement craft. It's design incorporated an
"engines-down"
configuration, with the cockpit and cargo area mounted above
and
perpendicular to the engine area. This configuration meant
that the pilot
landed the ship while looking straight up and away from the
landing
platform, and flew the ship in a "standing up" position.
This required that
the cockpit console be mounted on a rotating platform,
giving the pilot the
ability to see where he was going. This vessel is best
represented by
Slave 1, operated by the famous bounty hunter Boba Fett. |
|
 |
I-7 Howlrunner
Length: 11.4m
Hull: 23 RU
Shield: 50 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 78 DPF
|
It resembles a streamlined T-47
air speeder in shape, being a long, wedge-shaped craft with a
rectangular midsection. The Howlrunner is lightly armed and
normally doesn't include a hyperdrive, like the TIEs;
however, some of these ships do include a hyperdrive, and
can accommodate an additional occupant in the cockpit. |
|
 |
IRD Fighter
Length: 8.5m
Hull: 18 RU
Shield: 35 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 65 DPF
|
Multipurpose starfighter. The
IRD (Intercept Reconnaissance Defense) is designed for
combat with powerful engines and very effective weaponry. |
|
 |
Jedi Starfighter
Length: 8m
Hull: 15 RU
Shield: 40 SBD
Weapons: 2 Dual-Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: Class 3
Sublight: Very Fast
Maneuverability: 95 DPF
|
Small wedge-shaped one-man
starfighters, these vessels were used by the jedi order in
the waning days of the Old Republic. An astromech droid is
hard-wired into the starfighter's port side, providing
repair and navigation information to the pilot. |
|
 |
Missile Boat
Length: 18.3m
Hull: 19 RU
Shield: 120 SBD
Weapons: 1 Laser Cannon |
2 Concussion Missile Launchers (10 missiles each) |
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers (5 torpedoes each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 91 DPF
|
Introduced as an even deadlier
upgrade to the Assault Gunboat, the Missile Boat is the
elite long-distance weapons fighting platform. Though deadly
from long-range, Imperial pilots dislike the Missile Boat
once they get into the thick of combat. A single weak laser
cannon and bad maneuverability make the Missile Boat
vulnerable in dogfights. |
|
 |
Naboo Starfighter
Length: 11m
Hull: 13 RU
Shield: 40 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
Proton Torpedo Launcher (10 torpedoes)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 85 DPF
|
Its sleek design exemplifies
the philosophy of art and function witnessed throughout
Naboo technology. Its twin radial J-type engines are capped
in gleaming chrome and trail long delicate-looking finials
behind the ship's single-pilot compartment. Behind the pilot
sits a standard astromech droid, plugged into an
abbreviated, ventrally fed socket, which requires the droid
to compress slightly in order to fit within the vessel's
curves.
|
|
 |
Pinook Fighter Length: 10m
Hull: 14 RU
Shield: 25 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons
Two Concussion Missile Launcher (Two missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 82 DPF |
The Pinook Fighter was designed as an alternative to
planetary defense starfighters. It is still found in service
around some destitute planets defense corps, but is still
often found in Pirate groups as a platform defense patrol
starfighter. |
|
 |
Preybird Fighter
Length: 20m
Hull: 18 RU
Shield: 46 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons
Two Concussion Missile Launcher (Four Missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 86 DPF |
This twenty-meter-long fighter has a long, central hull with
a forward-situated cockpit. The wings are attached to the
rear of the hull, rising up slightly before levelling off. A
single laser cannon is mounted at the end of each wing, and
the primary engines are located at the bend in the wings. |
|
 |
R-41 Starchaser
Length: 15 m
Hull: 15 RU
Shield: 30 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Ion Cannons
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 75 DPF
|
An outdated form of starfighter,
the R-41 Starchaser is a favorite among pirates, but is
still in limited use among the New Republic. Similar to the
Z-95 Headhunter, it is inexpensive and can be found
throughout the galaxy. |
|
 |
Razor Fighter
Length: 15m
Hull: 20 RU
Shield: 38 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser cannons
Two Ions Cannons
Two concussion missile launchers (4 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 86 DPF |
This three-winged starfighter is commonly found in
independent security fleets as well as pirate fleets.
Designed and manufactured by Starypan/SunHui Spaceworks, the
Razor has a long, cylindrical fuselage and is armed with a
pair of laser cannons, two light ion cannons, and a pair of
concussion missile launchers |
|
 |
Scimitar Assault Bomber
Length: 10m
Hull: 60 RU
Shield: 60 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Missile Launchers (8 missiles each) |
Proton Bombs in Bomb Bay
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 86 DPF |
The Scimitar, though using only
a single ion engine, is still faster than the TIE Bomber by
more than a quarter. The pilot has been joined by a
bombadier/co-pilot, and both are housed in a detachable
cockpit module which has it's own life support and power
supply, increasing crew survivability. The Scimitar adds a
repulsorlift engine, and is specifically intended to support
ground forces and attack surface targets, rather than space
assaults. It has a similar weapons load to the TIE Bomber,
but uses a simpler weapons mount. The entire underside of
the fuselage may be opened for weapons release, and the drum
is driven from a centre mounted spindle, rather than the
overly complicated, end-mounted gears of the Bomber. |
|
 |
Skipray Blastboat
Length: 24m
Hull: 61 RU
Shield: 102 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons
Three Ion Cannons
One Proton Torpedo launcher (8 Torpedoes)
One Concussion Missile Laucnher (10 Missiles)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 64 DPF |
They are long, streamlined ships, about twice the length of
an X-wing. Because of their size and their design profile,
the Skipray Blastboat was created to fill the gap between
small starfighters and well-armed capital ships. Despite the
fact that the Skipray was equipped with a hyperdrive and
could go on missions that starfighters could not, they never
became as popular as TIE fighters, and became obsolete in
the mind of the Empire. They are found primarily in smuggler
defense fleets. They have rear-mounted engines, and have a
ventral fin for stability. |
|
 |
Supa Fighter
Length: 18.5m
Hull: 38 RU
Shield: 80 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons
One Ion Cannon
Two concussion missile launchers (4 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 88 DPF |
The Supa Fighter is a rather large, but maneuverable craft.
This starfighter was manufactured by Joraan Drive Yards for
Black Sun, during the height of the New Order. The basic
design was armed with a pair of laser cannons, a light ion
cannon, and two concussion missile launchers. |
|
 |
T-Wing
Length: 10m
Hull: 15 RU
Shield: 20 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 78 DPF
|
The T-Wing is another weak,
outdated vessel by today's standards. It is faster and only
slightly more maneuverable than its cousin, the R-41
Starchaser. |
|
 |
TIE Advanced
Length: 10m
Hull: 14RU
Shield: 40 SBD
Weapons: 4 Laser Cannons |
2 Missile Launchers (4 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 4
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 105 DPF
|
The TIE Advanced/Avenger is a
single-hulled attack ship with bent wings, built from a
design developed by Darth Vader just prior the Battle of
Yavin. Vader flew a prototype TIE/Ad in the battle, and
following the loss of the Death Star, he worked with Seinar
Fleet Systems to refine it. The TIE Advanced shows a clear
advantage over other TIE models such as the Interceptor
because of its shields, which give the pilot added
protection, and the hyperdrive, which opens many new
possibilities for missions the TIE Advanced can be involved
in without the support of a larger mother ship. |
|
 |
TIE Bomber
Length: 7.8m
Hull: 28 RU
Shield: None
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Missile Launcher (4 missiles each) |
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers (2 torpedoes each)
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 86 DPF
|
One of the most lethal TIE
models, the Bomber's signature feature is the double hull.
One portion of the double-hull can carry a lethal array of
torpedoes, missiles, space bombs, or other warheads. The
Bomber prides itself in its accuracy, and is able to
selectively target and destroy small military targets on
planetary surfaces or capital ships, while leaving
commercial or military assets untouched. |
|
 |
TIE Cyclone Length:
6.6 Meters
Hull: 16 RU
Shield: None
Weapons: 6 Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Extremely Fast
Maneuverability: 150 DPF |
The Tie Cyclone is a small
production run starfighter designed by Seniar as an
improvement to the Tie Interceptor, using some of the design
features of the Tie Defender. The Cyclone has three wing
sections, which provide it with unprecedented maneuvering
thruster cover and power for those thrusters. This means
that the Cyclone is perhaps most maneuverable fighter ever
built, and its six laser cannons provide an incredible
amount of firepower, making it faster, more maneuverable and
better armed than any opposition fighter. |
|
 |
TIE Defender
Length: 10m
Hull: 14 RU
Shield: 100 SBD
Weapons: 4 Laser Cannons |
2 Ion Cannons |
2 Missile Launchers (6 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Very Fast
Maneuverability: 110 DPF
|
The TIE Defender is an advanced
TIE model employing shields and a hyperdrive. This 10-meter
starfighter took the stability and agility of the TIE
Interceptor's bent-wing design and added a third bent-wing
to it. Not much is known about the TIE/de, as it was never
fully accepted in battle and never mass-produced. |
|
 |
TIE Fighter
Length: 6.3m
Hull: 10 RU
Shield: None
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 97 DPF
|
The standard TIE Fighter model
carried by Imperial warships and deployed at flash points
around the galaxy. They take the brunt of Rebel fire in
deep-space battles and serve to ward off enemy starfighters,
freeing the Star Destroyers or other Imperial cruisers to
concentrate firepower on Rebel starships and larger military
targets. |
|
 |
TIE Interceptor
Length: 9.6m
Hull: 16 RU
Shield: None
Weapons: 4 Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Fast
Maneuverability: 105 DPF
|
Imperial forces saw the need to
create a starfighter faster and stronger armed than the
over-matched TIE Fighter. The TIE Interceptor was born,
featuring the bent-tip solar panel design invented by Lord
Vader. These solar panels are dagger-shaped for increased
visibility from inside the cockpit. |
|
 |
TIE Oppressor Length:
12.2 Meters
Hull: 30 RU
Shield: None
Weapons: 2 Heavy Laser Cannons (Fire Linked) | 2 Concussion
Missile Launchers (4 Missiles Each) | Proton Bomb Launcher
(16 Bomb Magazine)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 85 DPF |
Designed during the early years
of the Empire, the TIE Oppressor is an Imperial starfighter
designed for the same role as the Y-Wing fighter, that of a
mixed Starfighter / Bomber. Although not as impressive as
the Y-Wing, the Oppressor did pave the way for the Empire to
introduce the TIE Bomber. The Oppressor is a powerful
starfighter, equipped with its own hyperdrive, which also
was very expensive which accounts for its early retirement
by the Empire. |
|
 |
TIE Phantom
Length: 15m
Hull: 14 RU
Shield: 50 SBD
Weapons: 3 Laser Cannons |
2 Concussion Missile Launchers (4 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 75 DPF
|
This stealth fighter is a new
form of TIE Fighter, developed by Darth Vader during the
later years of the Galactic Civil War. It had a central
sphere surrounded by three triangular wings, mounted with
laser cannons. It had incredible stealth power, evading
nearly every known form of sensor. This was due to its
unique cloaking ability. Alliance military leaders
classified it as an assault fighter. Though deadly coming
out of its cloak, the element of surprise is the Phantom's
only real advantage, because it projects very weak shields.
The Phantom has never been mass-produced. |
|
 |
TIE Vanguard
Length: 6.6m
Hull: 9 RU
Shield: None
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Concussion Missile Launchers (2 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 97 DPF
|
An upgrade to the TIE/rc, the
TIE Vanguard Enhanced Reconnaissance Fighter carries more
advanced state-of-the-art sensor systems, as well as
sporting a reduced profile with its unique bent-shaped solar
panels to evade notice from enemy sensors. Built from the
basic TIE/ln design, the Vanguard's solar collectors were
smaller on the top half than on the bottom. The top part was
also bent slightly outward. The central ball of the
starfighter was equipped with enhanced communications
equipment. |
|
 |
Toscan Fighter
Length: 10.2m
Hull: 23 RU
Shield: 68 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: None
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 73 DPF |
This starfighter was designed and produced by Shobquix
Yards, although it employed a cockpit manufactured by
Koensayr. It was one of several starship designs, which were
used in the development of the Koensayr Y-Wing. |
|
 |
X-Wing
Length: 12.5m
Hull: 20 RU
Shield: 50 SBD
Weapons: 4 Laser Cannons |
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers (3 torpedoes each)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 75 DPF
|
X-Wing is the common name for
the Incom T-65c A2 Starfighter, a fighter with two wings
that split in two by activating S-foils. Having the wings in
the "X" position allows for greater maneuverability and
firing accuracy; each of the split wings has its own laser
cannon (total of four). Having the S-Foils down allows for
better flight control in atmosphere. It is a single-pilot
ship, with an R2 astromech droid socket. The R2 unit is used
in place of a navigation computer. |
|
 |
Y-Wing
Length: 16m
Hull: 40 RU
Shield: 75 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Ion Cannons |
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers (4 torpedoes each)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 59 DPF
|
Originally designed for long
range reconnaissance, this J-type snub fighter has
twin-propulsion systems behind a single cockpit. It’s a
one-man fighter with space for an astromech droid. |
|
 |
Z-95 Headhunter
Length: 11.8m
Hull: 15 RU
Shield: 20 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons |
2 Missile Launchers (3 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 86 DPF
|
The Z-95 is a snub fighter,
wasp-like in its design, built by Incom in cooperation with
Subpro Industries a few years before they began production
on the X-Wing. They were famous for how much punishment they
could take in battle. Each Headhunter was equipped with a
unique bubble canopy that allowed its pilot an almost
360-degree view of the sky around him. They employed a
holographic, heads-up display that made the bubble canopy
even more effective. |
Transports and Shuttles
 |
Delta-Class Escort Shuttle
Length: 24m
Hull: 85 RU
Shield: 120 SBD
Weapons: 1 Turbolaser | 3 Laser Cannons | 2 Concussion Missile Launcher (8 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 65 DPF |
Militarized version of the Lambda-class
Shuttle built under subcontract to
Sienar. More heavily armed and shielded, it is the preferred
version. Unlike
the Lambda shuttle, the Delta has a fixed-wing concept. |
|
 |
Gamma-Class Assault Shuttle
Length: 44m
Hull: 142 RU
Shield: 200 SBD
Weapons: 4 Laser Cannons | 4 Ion Cannons |
2 Proton Torpedo Launchers (10 torpedoes
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 54 DPF |
Heavily armored fighters with a good deal
of armament, these ships often
required a droid to perform navigation. Manufactured by
Telgorn
Corporation for the Empire, these ships were among the
heaviest-shielded
shuttles in the imperial fleet. They were used to shuttle
zero-G troops into
battle, and were equally capable in an atmosphere, deep
space, or
hyperspace. |
|
 |
Lambda-Class Shuttle
Length: 24m
Hull: 66 RU
Shield: 100 SBD
Weapons: 2 Laser Cannons | 2 Concussion Missile Launchers (4 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 62 DPF |
The Lambda Class shuttle is a multi-purpose
transport used in various
fleets. With a trihedral foil design, the craft bears a
strong resemblance
to Incom's popular T-16 skyhopper. It has three wings, a
stationary
center foil and two articulated flanking wings. When in
flight, the side
wings fold out for greater stabilization. When landing, the
wings fold in,
shrinking the vessel's silhouette. Boarding or docking with
other spaceships
is made possible by a telescoping ramp that extends from the
lower
forward fuselage. Its large interior hold can carry 20
soldiers, or 80 tons
worth of cargo |
|
 |
Muurian Transport
Length: 40m
Hull: 30 RU
Shield: 80 SBD
Weapons: 2 Turbolasers |
Three Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 70 DPF
|
Transport class vessel competitive with the
Corellian Engineering Corp.'s
YT-1300, but whose standard configuration includes better
armament and
shielding. They are however slower and not easily
customizable. |
|
 |
Pursuer Enforcement Ship
Length: 24m
Hull: 60 RU
Shield: 100 SBD
Weapons: Two Dual Laser Cannons |
One Ion Cannon |
Two Concussion Missile Launcher (4 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 70 DPF |
An older model of Mandal Motors' police
ship, this craft was used by the
Mandalorians as a system patrol vehicle. During the height
of the Clone
Wars, MandalMotors was forced to refit the ship for use as a
picket ship
by the Separatists. The Pursuer-class ship required a single
pilot, and had
room for 2 guards and 5 prisoners. The ship was basically a
long, thin
rectangle stabilized in flight by a port-side wing and
maneuvering cluster.
After the Clone Wars, the Pursuer-class enforcement ship was
made
available throughout the galaxy, but often only to those
planets that were
loyal to the Empire. |
|
 |
Sentinel-Class Landing Craft
Length: 38m
Hull: 28 RU
Shield: 140 SBD
Weapons: Four Laser Cannons |
Two Proton Torpedo Launchers (4 Torpedoes
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 63 DPF |
This Sienar Fleet Systems' design was
derived from the Lambda-class
shuttle, retaining the Lambda's triple-wing design. As with
the Lambda,
the Sentinel's two lower wings folded during landing. The
Sentinel differed
from the Lambda in terms of cargo space and weapons. The
Sentinel was
widened and elongated to allow for the transport of up to 54
soldiers and
six speeder bikes. If all seats were removed, the ship could
accommodate
up to thirty-six speeder bikes, twelve combat assault
vehicles, or 180
metric tons of cargo. |
|
 |
Star Courier
Length: 26.5m
Hull: 65 RU
Shield: 105 SBD
Weapons: Six Laser Cannons (concealed)
Hyperdrive: Class 3
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 78 DPF |
The Star Courier was the vessel upon which the famed Sith
Infiltrator was made from. The craft has a long, main
fuselage to which is attached the ball-shaped control center
aft. The wings of the craft are used to radiate the intense
heat of its engines, and could be folded down during
landings. The designs of the control center and the wings
were later incorporated into the TIE Advanced prototype. |
|
 |
Svelte-Class Shuttle
Length: 17m
Hull: 53 RU
Shield: 100 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons |
Two Blaster Cannons
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 90 DPF |
This Imperial shuttle, nicknamed the "Vader
Class Shuttle", was built by
Silviut Corporation after the tragic death of Grand Admiral
Thrawn. A
sleek, fast, and highly maneuverable ship, the Svelte Class
Shuttle is
beetle-shaped and coated with gloss black plating. It
requires a pilot and
co-pilot, 4 gunners, and it can accommodate 15 passengers.
The wings of
the Svelte Class Shuttle can be raised, and they serve a
similar function
as the fins of the Lambda Class Shuttle. |
|
 |
YT-1300
Length: 26m
Hull: 76 RU
Shield: 120 SBD
Weapons: Two Laser Cannons |
Two Concussion Missiles Launchers (4 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Slow
Maneuverability: 65 DPF
|
This series of Corellian light stock
freighter built by the Corellian
Engineering Corporation. Originally designed and
manufactured some 30
years before the Battle of Yavin, it was a 2-man craft, and
can
accommodate up to six passengers. The main hull is
disk-shaped, with
two trapezoidal pods extending from the front. The cockpit
is
offset-mounted on the right side of the disk. While the
cockpit can be
positioned on either the left or right side, this
positioning leaves a great
deal of the ship out of the pilot's view. While this is
common for larger
ships, the off-center placement makes it much harder to
maneuver in tight
spaces for many new pilots. The famous Millenium Falcon,
piloted by Han
Solo, is a heavily modified YT-1300. |
|
 |
YT-2000
Length: 29m
Hull: 114 RU
Shield: 320 SBD
Weapons: Four Laser Cannons |
Two Ion Cannons |
Two Concussion Missiles Launchers (8 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2

This Corellian Engineering Corporation
light freighter was based on the
venerable YT-1300 line. Its cockpit was mounted in the
center of the
ship. Much of the specifications of this ship are in line
with other
YT-models |

YT-2400
Length: 16m
Hull: 102 RU
Shield: 248 SBD
Weapons: Two Dual-Laser Cannons |
2 Missiles Launchers (6 missiles each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Medium
Maneuverability: 75 DPF
|
One of the light freighters in CEC's
successful YT-series, the YT-2400
incorporates the saucer-shaped hull design that made the
YT-1300
popular. However, the YT-2400 does not have the paired,
forward-facing
mandibles. It is simply the saucer hull with a
heavily-braced cockpit
section off to the right side. The YT-2400 was also slightly
smaller than
its predecessors, although it had the capacity to transport
up to six
passengers and 150 metric tons of cargo. Flying the YT-2400
demanded
the skills of a pilot and co-pilot. The most famous YT-2400
is the
Outrider, owned by Dash Rendar. |

YV-666
Length: 23m
Hull: 64 RU
Shield: 80 SBD
Weapons: One Quad-Laser Cannon |
2 Concussion Missile Launchers (6 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 51 DPF
|
This Corellian Engineering Coroporation
light freighter design was unique in
shape from many other transports. It had a large,
rectangular main section
at the front of the ship that was used for cargo storage. A
small bridge
pod was mounted on the front end of the rectangle. The rear
of the ship
was needle-shaped power core and engine drive system.
Attached to this
rear section were a pair of extendable maneuvering vanes.
The
Trandoshan bounty hunter, Bossk, used a modified YV-666. |

Assault Frigate
Length: 696m
Hull: 992 RU
Shield: 2240 SBD
Weapons: Fifteen Laser Cannons
Twenty quad-laser cannons
Fifteen Turbolaser Batteries
One Proton Torpedo Launcher (Fourty Torpedoes)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: N/A
Maneuverability: 5 DPF
Fighter Capacity: None |
Basically a modified Dreadnaught-class starship, the Assault
Frigate is stripped of its outer shell to increase engine
capacity and fuel efficiency. Two dorsal solar fins are also
added, increasing maneuverability and energy production.
There are no docking bays on an Assault Frigate, but there
are 20 retractable docking tubes that could be extended from
the ship's holds. The Assault Frigate is also equipped with
a great deal of droid and computer-automated systems. Thus,
crew requirements for the assault frigate are just 5,000
beings, down from the 16,000 required on the original
Dreadnaught.

An Imperial capital ship, the Carrack-class
cruiser was built by Damorian
Manufacturing. At 350 meters in length, the Carrack-class is
larger than a
Lancer-class ship but smaller than a Dreadnaught. It is
manned by a crew
of 1,092, with room for up to 142 troops. It was built to
counteract the
effectiveness of the Corellian Corvette, for the Empire
could not obtain
many of those. The Carrack ships carry up to four TIE
Fighters on a set of
external racks. They are also the fastest Imperial capital
ship. |

Corellian Corevette
Length: 165m
Hull: 192 RU
Shield: 400 SBD
Weapons: 4 Dual Laser Cannons | 2 Concussion Missile Launchers (10 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 9 DPF |
A hammer-headed, fast transport ship built
by the Corellian Engineering
Corporation, often used as blockade runners because of their
speed and
mobility. They have a modular interior, which can be
modified for specific
needs. They have a standard crew complement of 46-104,
depending on
the mission. Some military missions require a crew upwards
of 165 men.
They are regarded as extremely vulnerable, however, since
the primary
solar collector and stabilizer fin are located dorsally, and
when disabled
can cripple the ship's ability to maneuver. |

Dreadnaught
Length: 572 m
Hull: 1072 RU
Shield: 1920 SBD
Weapons: Ten Turbolaser Batteries
Twenty Quad-Laser Cannons
Ten Laser Cannons
One Proton Torpedo Launcher (Fifty Torpedoes)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: N/A
Maneuverability: 5 DPF
Fighter Capacity: One Fighter Squadron |
Manufactured by Rendili StarDrive prior to the Clone Wars,
these Old Republic ships required a huge number of
crewmembers (16,000+) to run. They were about 600 meters in
length, with a roughly cylindrical shape. The basic idea
behind the Dreadnaught was taken from an old Mandalorian
design, and was updated to create a ship that could be
deployed to maintain a planetary occupation. Six weapons
blisters were arranged around its midsection, and it had a
clamshell-shaped bow. |

Imperial Customs Vessel
Length: 153m
Hull: 285 RU
Shield: 400 SBD
Weapons: 4 Laser Cannons | 4 Ions Cannons | 2 Concussion Missile Launcher (8 missiles
each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 51 DPF |
System patrol craft follow the primary
directive to apprehend smuggling
vessels, but they also serve as a star system's first line
of defense against
pirates, rebels and hostile aliens as well. Often, the crew
of a system
patrol craft spends long periods off-world in their vessel,
patrolling the
borders of their star system. They are called upon to
respond quickly to
any ships leaving the system with stolen or smuggled goods,
so the crews
must be constantly on watch for threats from within their
system as well
as those from beyond. |

Imperial-II Star Destroyer
Length: 1600m
Hull: 2288 RU
Shield: 5760 SBD
Weapons: Fifty Heavy Turbolaser Batteries
Fifty Heavy Turbolaser Cannons
Twenty Ion Cannons
Ten Tractor Beam Projectors
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: N/A
Maneuverability: 5 DPF
Fighter Capacity: Six Fighter Squadrons |
A modification to the incredibly effective Imperial-I class,
the Imperial-II class only had 36,755 crewers, but 300
gunners and nearly 10,000 troops. Among the primary
differences in terms of structure was the heavily reinforced
hull and the presence of a second docking bay on the belly
of the Imperial-II class ship. This second bay allowed this
Star Destroyer to deploy up to seventy-two TIE fighters into
battle. |
|
 |
Lancer-class Frigate
Length: 227m
Hull: 304 RU
Shield: 576 SBD
Weapons: Twenty Quad Lasers
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: N/A
Maneuverability: 6 DPF |
The Lancer's primary mission was to screen
off enemy starfighters early in
an engagement, paving the way for large ship-to-ship combat
which
Imperial-class Star Destroyers were more than capable of
winning. The
Lancer-class didn't get a fair chance to prove its worth
until Grand Admiral
Thrawn appeared from the Unknown Regions. He was able to put
the
Lancers to work in key raiding missions on New Republic
worlds. |

MC-80 Calamari Cruiser
Length: 1200m
Hull: 1824 RU
Shield: 3840 SBD
Weapons: Fourty-Eight Turbolaser Batteries
Twenty Ion Cannons
Six Tractor Beam Projectors
Hyperdrive: Class
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 5 DPF
Fighter Capacity: Four Fighter Squadrons |
A series of Mon Calamari space cruiser originally designed
as a luxury ship, but later overhauled to become Alliance
warships. Each of these ships is a hand-crafted work of art,
unique from all others. They appear to be organic in nature,
because the Mon Calamari built them with sleek, rounded pods
and bulges to contain sensor arrays, weapons batteries, and
shield generators. Since they were designed as luxury ships,
they have a large number of viewports. this was a problem
when they were refitted for military duty, as the large
number of viewports reduced the ship's structural integrity.
To further protect the MC80, the Mon Calamari covered the
viewports with hull components and heavy blast doors. These
ships were built specifically for use by Mon Calamari
crewmen, and required a great deal of refitting for use by
other species. They are designed with triply-redundant
shielding, and most other systems have at least double
redundancy. This makes them extremely battle-effective, but
requires a great deal of maintenance. |

This was the follow-up to Kuat Drive Yards'
successful Nebulon-B Frigate
design. The primary difference between the B and the B2 is
in the forward
section of the ship. The Nebulon-B has a deep-based forward
pod that
extends well below the aft engine section. The Nebulon-B2
has a smaller
forward pod, comparable in size to the engine pod. Attached
the smaller
pod, in order to gain stability, are two downward-planed
wings. It is
otherwise exactly the same as the original Nebulon-B. |

 |
Nebulon-B Frigate
Length: 400m
Hull: 464 RU
Shield: 900 SBD
Weapons: 12 Turbolasers | 12 Laser Cannons
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: N/A
Maneuverability: 5 DPF
|
The designation of the Kuat Drive Yards
EF76B Escort ship, it is a
strangely-shaped ship that has a long, thin hull with its
main decks
hanging off the front end and the engines hanging off the
rear. They are
slow, unwieldy ships, and were designed to carry a number of
TIE Fighters
as protection. Originally built for Imperial escort duty
just after the Battle
of Yavin, the Alliance was able to capture a number of them
intact, and
used these frigates as medical ships. They had a normal crew
of 920, but
could be operated with as little as 850. They can also carry
two full
squadrons of fighters. |

Republic Assault Ship (Acclamator
Class)
Length: 752m
Hull: 976 RU
Shield: 2140 SBD
Weapons: Twelve Quad-Laser Cannons
Twenty Four Laser Cannons
Four Projectile Launchers
Hyperdrive: Class 0.6
Sublight: Very Slow
Maneuverability: 7 DPF
Fighter Capacity: None |
The ship was created for the Republic, rather than the Trade
Federation or the Separatists, after several Kuati officials
were murdered by the Federation at the Eriadu Conference.
The Acclamator-class ship was the first ship produced, and
was designed to carry huge numbers of troops and support
materiel into battle anywhere in the galaxy. What made them
unusual for a capital ship was that the Acclamator-class
could move through planetary atmospheres as well as the
vacuum of deep space. This meant that separate dropships
were not required. In most design respects, the Acclamator
was the predecessor of the Victory- and Imperial-class Star
Destroyers. |

Star Galleon
Length: 298m
Hull: 512 RU
Shield: 1280 SBD
Weapons: Ten Turbolaser Batteries
Two Concussion Missile Launchers (Ten Missiles Each)
Hyperdrive: Class 2
Sublight: N/A
Maneuverability: 35 DPF
Fighter Capacity: None |
Built by the Kuat Drive Yards in an effort to help transport
cargo and defend it at the same time, the Star Galleon is a
300-meter military cargo ship. It is capable of dropping its
cargo section, which can fly on its own. The cargo section
is equipped with a small hyperdrive that can be activated by
the main ship's navcom unit in case of emergency. The Star
Galleon is manned by a crew of 150, with room for up to 300
troops. |

Strike Cruiser
Length: 450m
Hull: 768 RU
Shield: 1600 SBD
Weapons: Twenty Turbolasers
Ten Turbolaser Batteries
Ten Ion Cannons
Ten Tractor Beam Projectors
Two Torpedo Launchers (Thirty Torpedoes)
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: N/A
Maneuverability: 5 DPF
Fighter Capacity: One Fighter Squadron |
Loronar's Strike-class Cruiser has been called the fleet's
best kept secret. While every smuggler and Rebel knows to
avoid Star Destroyers, the fighting capacity of the Strike
Cruiser comes as quite a surprise to many. Each Strike
Cruiser can carry a company of troops, two AT-STs, and one
AT-AT walker for ground assault missions. Its small but
functional hangar bay houses one squadron of TIE-class
starfighters. Because of its modular design, a Strike
Cruiser can be easily modified for specific missions. While
the benefits of its design are obvious, the Strike Cruiser
has some glaring weaknesses. The modular design means that
entire systems or weapons batteries can be knocked out by a
single, well placed hit. |

Victory Class Star Destroyer
Length: 900 Meters
Hull: 1500 RU
Shield: 3200 SBD
Weapons: 10 Quad Turbolaser Batteries; 40 Double Turbolaser
Batteries;
80 Concussion Missile Tubes; 10 Tractor Beam Emplacements
Hyperdrive: Class 1
Sublight: 8 MGLT
Fighter Capacity: 2 Fighter Squadrons |
A medium-duty Imperial capital ship, the
Victory-class was the precursor to the Imperial class. It
was designed by Walex Blissex and was commissioned into
service near the end of the Clone Wars. It was manufactured
by Rendili StarDrive, and was built to serve three purposes:
planetary defense, planetary assault and ground troop
support, and ship-to-ship combat. It can run at speeds up to
.45 past lightspeed. The Victory-class measured 900 meters
in length, and was manned by 4,798 crewers and 402 gunners.
It could transport up to 2,040 troops, and held 8,100 metric
tons of cargo. It was equipped with 10 quad turbolaser
batteries, 40 double turbolaser batteries, 80 concussion
missile tubes, and 10 tractor beam projectors. |
Vehicles
AT-ME's can be used in any battle,
simply request them in the battle options of the battle's challenge.
In most cases, and unless specifically noted, these can be written
in almost any regard. that is, you can expound on elements of the
machines, apart from 'adding' weapons. Members can also select the
AT-ME battle option from the Engagement Formats chapter of the
compendium. These also may be 'fitted' with crazy stuff, if you want
- just ask.

AT-PT Height: 10ft
Speed: 30mph
Agility: 16 DEX
Armor: (3) Light
Weapons: Twin blaster cannons; Concussion grenade launcher |
The All Terrain Personal Transport (AT-PT) is a single seat
light anti-infantry walker. It was developed and produced by
Rothana Heavy Engineering and saw little actual service. It
is lightly armored and has twin blaster cannons and a
concussion grenade launcher, both of which are highly
effective against infantry; this is in keeping with its
design goals, which were to accompany a platoon of soldiers
as mechanized support, enhancing their effectiveness.
Nonetheless, its superior agility compensates for its light
armor, as exemplified by its ability to cross most terrain,
such as: shallow water, mountain regions, jungles, and
cities, climb inclines of up to 45 degrees, as well as to
cross obstacles which repulsorlift and treaded vehicles
would be hindered by. |

 |
AT-ME/R ("Raptor")
Height: 16ft
Speed: 40mph
Agility: 18 DEX
Controls: Single stick; Aux panel
Propulsion: Dual quick-fire burners
Armor: (3) Light
Weapons: 4 independent blaster cannons; 6 anti-personnel
missiles (3 explosive; 3 incendiary); 2 electro-net
launchers (1 each) |
The All Terrain Modified Ensemble
(AT-ME), a next generation version of the Personal Transport
(AT-PT) commissioned by the Combat Master, is a single seat
'combat suit'. The ME/R ("Raptor") is a quick engagement
vehicle capable of decisive combat. It's controls are 'stick
and panel' based, allowing free-form movement by the
operator. It's 'cockpit' pivots independently from the legs
with a mere 'twist' of the joystick, adding to its
maneuverability. Only light armor protects the operator from
weapon fire. It is adequate for most blasters, provided the
ME/R avoids long durations of constant, direct fire. The
ME/R is equipped with 2 electro-net launchers that can
temporarily disable electronics or tangle personnel, for
capture, when employed. In addition, the 'Raptor' is fitted
with dual quick-fire burners which allow for the machine to
'leap' over great distances for a short time; perfect for
quick evasion. |
|
 |
AT-ME/V ("Viceroy")
Height: 15ft
Speed: 45mph
Agility: 20 DEX
Controls: Independent Sticks; Aux Control Panel; Optional
Navigational Helmet Control
Shield: 100SBD
Armor: (2) light
Weapons: 2 Independent 'arms'; 1 Fragmentation grenade
launcher (4 rounds); 1 light blaster canon |
The All Terrain Modified Ensemble (AT-ME), a next generation
version of the Personal Transport (AT-PT) commissioned by
the Combat Master, is a single seat 'combat suit'. The ME/V
("Viceroy") is a quick engagement vehicle capable of
decisive intervention. It isn't heavily armed or armored,
but what it lacks in armament, it makes up for in
technology. The 'Viceroy' is equipped with a shield
generator that is comparable to capital ships, boasting an
800SBD, which allows it to get up close and personal. It's
independent arms are fitted with 'claws' that can grab, hold
and even crush. Their compression capability is easily over
fifty tons per square inch, in addition to their
electro-charge ("shock") capability which can shut down most
machinery on contact. The 'Viceroy' has an integral
heads-up-display (HUD) that gives a full 360 degree visual
assessment of surroundings. It's entire main 'window'
translates information transmitted from the mounted sensor
cluster on it's roof, negating any possibility of the
operator being 'caught by surprise', unless they're asleep
or dead. |
|
 |
AT-ME/X
("Xavier") Height: 12ft
Speed: 25mph
Agility: 10 DEX
Propulsion: After-burner
Controls: Independent Sticks; Aux Control Panel; Foot
Controls
Shield: 125SBD
Armor: (5) Heavy
Weapons: 1 Stabilized turbo laser cannon; 2 batteries of
concussion missiles (5 each); 1 equipment 'claw' |
The All Terrain Modified Ensemble (AT-ME), a next generation
version of the Personal Transport (AT-PT) commissioned by
the Combat Master, is a single seat 'combat suit'. The ME/X
("Xavier") is an engagement vehicle capable of long term
engagement. Heavy armor; turbo-lasers; concussion missiles
etc. the ME/V is a terrain-based Frigate. At home in
hard-core battle, the 'Xavier' can withstand massive amounts
of damage with a 1000SBD shield generator protecting it's
heavy armor. It's speed isn't impressive at all, which is
exactly why the 'Xavier' is fitted with an after-burner.
With 4 burst available, the ME/X can increase its speed up
to 65mph for 3 seconds with each burst. A stabilized
turbo-laser allows for massive fire without retarding the
unit's balance. Its equipment 'claw' is useful for
maintaining balance, tearing ground transport hulls and
knocking other PT's off balance. It's not as agile as other
units, but its ability to endure more than compensates. |
