Blast from the Past Week

'Blast from the Past Week' is a concept created to allow newer members a chance to take and pass Shadow Academy courses no longer offered regularly, primarily to use for electives in Dark Savants.

Every so often, when the Headmaster deems fit, an old Shadow Academy course will be reopened to the Brotherhood for exactly one week (Sunday through Sunday), during which time members may take the exam and pass it once, no matter the score. Should the exam be failed, the member will be allowed to take the exam one more time during that week, but no more.

Reopened exams are graded by the Headmaster, Praetor to the Headmaster, and Magistrate to the Headmaster for the week the exam is available. When the week expires, the exam is removed from the course listing until the next time it is reopened. Typically, 'Blast from the Past Week' will be held once every six months, depending upon the Headmaster.

Headmaster (HM):

The Headmaster manages the Shadow Academy. He is responsible for the training and development of the Dark Brotherhood's membership and acts as a resource for all new members.

Praetor (P:HM):

The Praetor of the Headmaster is the Headmaster's primary assistant in the proper functioning of the Shadow Academy. The P:HM is often given administrative responsibilities in oversight and project development within the Academy.
