Marcus Saviri is a middle-aged Human male with olive skin, brown eyes, and dark, curly hair shot through with streaks of grey. His face and hands are weathered by years of hard work and exposure to the elements.
While Marcus Saviri will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Marcus Saviri's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Marcus Saviri's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Marcus Saviri, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
Marcus Saviri does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know Marcus Saviri will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows Marcus Saviri around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.
Marcus Saviri has been patching up the wounded for years as a Medic and has come to the conclusion that more often than not, the injuries are either self inflicted or deserved. While he will always work tirelessly on behalf of his patient in an ongoing quest to preserve all life, that doesn’t stop him from scolding or belittling patients that he feels should know better than to walk into a rancor pit with a bucket of raw meat. Marcus Saviri teeters on the line between compassion and supporting selective evolution, which can make him come off as less friendly or inviting than other medics.
Marcus Saviri tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Marcus Saviri? Marcus Saviri doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Marcus Saviri, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Marcus Saviri isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Marcus Saviri won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Marcus Saviri will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Marcus Saviri has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only he could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
