Some have the belief that the Force is the guiding principle in the galaxy, a power that creates and changes people's destinies based on their standing and actions taken. Anubis goes against this grain. This Umbaran does not conform to any norms, whether they be social, procedural, technical, or cultural, instead having formed the belief that he alone controls and forges his own destiny.

This freedom allows Anubis to make choices, moral or otherwise, that others may find hard and not be held back by the notion that the Force does not will him so and therefore he cannot or will fail in his endeavors. Unfortunately, this belief system also forces the Umbaran to take more risks, sometimes putting himself or others in danger needlessly.

Anubis Taldrya loves to play with computers and enjoys interacting with them more than he does with people. Some may call him antisocial - and they'd be right.

Anubis' personality can only be described as icy, disciplined, and steel-like in his demeanor and interactions with others - reminiscent of Darth Vader. He is incredibly stubborn, believing his solution or answer to be the valid avenue of pursuit; with no room for errors or miscalculations on the part of others. He is ruthless in his tactics, devoid of mercy, and does not laugh, willing to use anyone to further his own personal goals.

Anubis is normally quiet when dealing with other people, with conversations short and to the point - his only actual conversations being with the closest of allies. He prefers to leave no room for interpretation of his words, nor waste any of his modulated, mechanical breaths.

Throughout his time in the Brotherhood, Anubis has been exposed to a myriad of Sith knowledge. This exposure led him to form a deep obsession with the teachings of Ancient Sith Magic, Sith Alchemy, and various Sith technologies. Although he no longer has a connection to the Force and unable to practice some of works, Anubis still strives to learn everything he can about Sith technologies, from weapons to droids to architecture, and everything in between.

Anubis can often be found conducting research or tinkering with different Sith technical processes and technologies, eschewing relationships with many of his allies to pursue advanced knowledge on these fronts - with many lighter-aligned members of the Brotherhood likely steering clear of his experimentations due to their dark origins

Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Anubis Taldrya prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Anubis Taldrya rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Anubis Taldrya is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Anubis Taldrya's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.

Anubis is a well measured behemoth of sheer will and commitment, with an immense level of focus and high level of Resolve on his end goal. He allows nothing to stand in his way of his intended target or objective. This Umbaran isn't afraid to go outside the box when conventional weapons fail or he's restricted of his typical armament, utilizing the most rudimentary items like a hydrospanner or eating utensil.

Anubis is unconcerned with collateral damage, procedural norms, or the rules of engagement. He does not care about fighting "clean". His goal is to eliminate the target or complete the objective, with failure not an option that crosses his mind. This brash and somewhat reckless do-it-or-die mentality almost always puts him at an increased risk of a permanent injury or impairment, with minor injuries usually the norm.
