Physical Description

Wyndell's roguish, attractive visage comes from a combination of his smooth skin, rogue smile, and inquisitive green eyes. The older Tyris shares the same jet-black hair as his half-brother, but keeps his longer and just as luscious locks tied back into a tail that either rests over one shoulder. His slender build is lean and trim with no noticeable bulk and little in the way of body fat. He lacks any noticeable scars or tattoos.

You Never Go Full Jawa (General Aspect)

The son of a lifelong con artist, Wyndell learned from a young age how to blend in, cheat, steal and lie smoothly. While working with his father, he developed a knack for impersonation. Wyn doesn’t just pretend to be the person he is imitating, but gets inside of their head and becomes them. He will give himself internal direction on how to best play the role, inventing backstory and history to create an organic “character.” This “method” approach to acting allows Wyn to fool even the most keen of observers with his disguises. After a nasty incident that drove him away from his father, however, Wyn has turned his back on scamming and swindling. He prefers to use his abilities to help others and looks down on anyone who exploits the weak for personal gain, putting him at odds with the smugglers and thieves he often finds himself dealing with.

You Can't Rush Art (General Aspect)

Wyn has a unique talent for crafting and projecting his Illusions into what he likes to call “scenes”. He approaches each scene like a piece of living artwork, bolstered by his ongoing research and observations of society and the world around him. He stresses the smaller details people often overlook, and will often insert himself into these scenes in some manner or character role to help sell it. While this makes him adept at throwing off even the most perceptive critics, Wyn needs time to properly prepare one of his scenes, making his Illusion's much less impressive or effective when he is put on the spot or asked to perform under pressure.

Duh, Wynning (Personality Aspect)

Wyndell coasts through life wearing a perpetual grin that can either be infectious or insufferable depending on the person receiving it. His unbending sense of self-worth and confidence in his own abilities acts as both a blessing and curse. On the one hand, Wyn will never let anything — even failure — hold him back from taking on a difficult challenge. Paired with a competitive drive to win, Wyndel has a long track record of succeeding despite the odds. This success, however, brings with it a heightened sense of ego that has lead Wyn to coin his own catchphrase: “Wynning.”

“Wynning” involves any act or stunt that Wyn successfully (in his mind) executes and feels is worthy of both external and self-praise. While this energetic confidence can border on arrogance that becomes grating to most, it can inspire those with similar spirits to rise to a challenge and overcome the odds.

Fair Trades (Personality Aspect)

Wyn has an odd sense of property when it comes to other people's possessions. In what can be considered outright thievery, Wyn believes in a fair-trade system where it is alright to take something that belongs to someone else...as long as he replaces it with something of equal or greater value. An item's worth, of course, is determined solely by Wyn’s own value system, which even his closest friends have not been able to fully decipher. This has made his friends wary of leaving him unattended, but also unsurprised when something goes missing, as they quickly know who is responsible.

I'd Prefer Not To? (Combat Aspect)

For all his cocksure bravado and his confidence in his ability to shoot his way through most situations, Wyn really will try and avoid a straight-up fight unless necessary. He likes to hang back, fight from a distance, and would much rather support those around him with his unique abilities as a Defender by using his Force Pulse feat. He will try and use his skill with Illusions to throw enemies off or talk his way out of combat. While he can talks a pretty big game, he is not nearly as effective without a partner or teammate backing him up.

Bad Touch (Combat Aspect)

Wyndell will literally do everything in his power to avoid close-quarters combat. He would rather fire a blaster bolt at point-blank before simply striking an opponent with weapon itself. His hands shake anytime he tries to wield a melee weapon as they trigger memories of a past incident he doesn’t speak of. He will not touch or carry such a weapon of any kind and particularly hates lightsabers. This has caused him to rely solely on his blasters for most of his career, making him a deadly marksman who rarely misses his shots. His weapon of choice is the LL-30 blaster pistol. He carries a set that he calls the Double D’s: “Dexter” and “Doakes”. Wyn is proud of his gunslinging abilities, but his refusal to engage in any kind of melee combat has lead to him taking more than a few beatings and captures than he’d care to admit.
