Covered in golden fur, this Shistavenen stands out from his fellows. His yellow eyes are framed by his high cheekbones and his torn right ear makes him easy to locate in a crowd. His long face and wide, slightly upturned nose give him more angular facial features. After being injured in a childhood accident, Hayato walks with a notable limp. Scars arc across knees and lower legs when they are exposed, testifying to the painful experience. Age has begun to take its toll upon this Loyalist, with his fur thinning out and his stomach growing notably pudgy.
Hayato Runner sees himself as the control subject in the science experiment called life. Often labeled as "boring" and "predictable", Hayato Runner keeps his wild and experimental side reserved for pet projects. This boring lifestyle leads to him being considered anti-social and when he does join others, instead of relaxing he prefers to keep quiet and observe.
While Hayato Runner will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Hayato Runner's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Hayato Runner's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Hayato Runner, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.
Hayato Runner manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Hayato Runner will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Hayato Runner's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.
Hayato Runner tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.
If Hayato Runner had been in Greedo’s shoes, Han Solo would be pushing up daisies. He almost always acts on instinct, which typically means he can be seen as impulsive and may not think his actions through, especially in situations during or leading up to combat.
Hayato Runner vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
