General Appearance- K’tana is somewhat emaciated, albeit still a violently violet Twi’lek who- at first glance- could be mistaken for beautiful. Almond-shaped eyes set behind prominent cheekbones that once outshone emerald seas now glisten with the beryl gleaming of crimson fire. Her burning gaze is outlined in black tattoos that extend from waterline to brow-bone and cover the entirety of her eye sockets, giving off a distant image of small fires blazing from within a dark abyss. Her lekku, which taper delicately past her narrow shoulders as their nearly pointed tips dangle near the small of her back, are painted with thick lavender scars. The left side of her face, once unmarred by all but her tattoos, now bears a large burn scar that has healed into a jagged and mangled heap of thick, angry-looking scar tissue. Yet her face still bears the graceful features and is somewhat still complemented by damson ink that accentuates the contours of her bone structure.
Tattoos and Other Markings- As a former member of the Inquisitorious, K’tana bears the complete, Inquisitorius Tattoo down the front of her torso. The top of the emblem rests between her collar bones, just below her throat and the script extends past her navel. However, the words - for those who get close enough to see- read: "Obstinance, Resistance and Defiance" in mockery of the prostrating phrases now marring the flesh of the Inquisitorius.
K’tana once had something akin to a fetish for backtalking the scariest of Arconae, solely for the thrill. She had affairs with violence, and she even flirted with Death itself in the few times it came knocking at her chamber doors. But it has been almost two years since the Twi’lek could stand on her own two feet, having silently acted as a decoration of Timeros’ office for that time, and some of that carbonite seems to have left a permanent mark on her personality. Everything is below her concern...unless Timeros says otherwise.
She remembers everything from her youth; her capture, her obsessions and those who rejected her. She remembers every kiss of physical violence and every verbal backhand that crushed her heart. She remembers every person who used her for their gain or their amusement. She remembers that the only one who ever truly had her back was herself. However, instead of wishing hellfire and vengeance upon those she knows wronged her she, in her frozen hell, has learned that no one else is even worthy of her attention, let alone her affection or her trust. With narrowed eyes and a contemptuous smirk, she slips through the shadows of the ancient halls with barely a glance to the faces around her. K'tana lives in and for herself, embracing the role of the weapon she was always meant to be.
The Shadow was never known for curbing her emotions, but the only way to describe her as she storms off to do the bidding of her Master would be coiled and bridled fury. She rarely speaks, allowing her expression and body language to convey what she feels, finding words pointless; as they’ve never helped her before. Narrowed eyes, a raised eyebrow, or a disdainful sneer are the mainstays of her silent arsenal.
A biting cold veneer usually presents itself once the right combination of self-righteous indignation, a broken heart and damaged soul has been achieved. The Shadow blames everyone around her, believing she finally knows why she’s as damaged as she’s always been. Clearly, it has always been those around her that karked her up so badly and did her so wrong. The one kind soul K'tana admired is dead, her world is utterly shattered, and everyone is to blame.
K’tana is no longer driven by her wants and needs. Obligation and duty come first, or so Timeros says, and it is his word that she adheres. She cuts as her Master commands she cuts. The wounds she inflicts are jagged and bloody, leaving wisps of smoke and burned flesh in her wake. If Timeros- and thus Arcona- does not want you dead, K’tana will likely ignore you. Should you attack her first, she will use all skills at her disposal to hack you down and will probably forget to apologize for it later. Her singular focus, a trait beaten into her over the years, means that she gets things done. However, the Shadow will go until she collapses, frequently depriving herself of hydration, nutrition and sleep. Nothing matters, but completing the mission. Arcona Invicta
K’tana practically screams out her feelings with the way she moves in combat, maneuvering with sheer aggression and rage. But, for the most part, she has returned to her style of striking in a series of whirling blows, before using her proficiency with the Force to sink beneath their perception and attack again from an unexpected angle. She prefers to harry powerful foes with crippling and hindering blows, hoping to wear them down until they are no longer capable of defeating her in a fair fight - not that she would ever engage in one. This aggressive style, while raw and effective, is hardly practical and may fall short against an adept technical combatant that can match her agility
