DESCRIPTION:-> ![LOREFEST]([asset:wolfe_lorefest]) <-\n\n---\n\n## The Brea
kdown:\n#### How do you write like tomorrow won't arrive?: \nWelcome back
to **LOREFEST**: A Voice-sponsored series of fiction competitions\, awardi
ng First Level Crescents and bonus Clusters of Ice. Each month we'll give
you a new prompt\, usually relating to your characters\, their lives\, int
 erests\, what-if scenarios\, or the day-to-day within The Brotherhood.\n\n
---\n\nThe topic for the month of **April** is *When We Were Young.* Our c
haracters youths had their measure of embarrassments\, traumas\, victories
\, and losses. Sometimes these things haunt us for years to come\, sometim
es we're given the chance to address them as we get older. However\, you'v
e been extended a unique opportunity: travel back in time and either have
 a conversation with your character's younger self\, or\, intervene in a fo
rmative event in their life. \n\nWhich opportunity do you take\, and how d
oes it shape their new future? Is the character of today a product of that
singular event\, or was it just a drop in the bucket that formed who and
what they are? Did your character take the advice you gave them\, or ignor
e it altogether and walk right into the same lifestyles?\n\n-> ![Divider](
[asset:wolfe_divider]) <-\n\n## The Purpose:\n#### How do you write like y
ou need it to survive?: \n**LOREFEST** is a series of prompts\, ideas\,
and expositions to help flesh out characters\, express creative ideas\, an
d earn sweet\, sweet credits along the way. You'll see a mix of prompts\,
old and new\, some even taking new life from #character-questions\, as we
seek to dive deep\, understand your characters\, define their place in The
Brotherhood\, and most importantly\, enjoy the process of writing. \n\n-
