When it comes down to it, I have always considered myself to be in the top percentile of members in terms of activity within the Dark Brotherhood. Everyone who knows me knows that I put a great deal of bravado into the claims of my personal greatness in terms of the Brotherhood. That’s why writing this recommendation is so damned hard. I don’t like being faced with a comparison I fall so completely short of, but when I compare my own personal activity to that of Andrelious’? I’m barely even in the same league as he is. To be perfectly honest, I doubt there are many people in the Brotherhood’s history who could compete with his prolific activity levels.
Andrelious has only been in Taldryan for slightly over two months, and in that time he’s continued his career trend of being the most active member in his unit. He’s been organizing and running competitions, as well as greedily consuming all the competitions we have been able to offer up. More recently he’s been crushing the most recent Antei Combat Center (..centre!) competition Rivalries, which through skill and activity, he proceeded to dominate all challengers. According to the Combat Master, Mark’s efforts within the DB wide competition represented a quarter of all matches within the competition..
Andrelious’ efforts in Taldryan alone are worthy of recognition, but the debt he’s owed by this Club is not merely one owed to him for his time in Taldryan. Mark has gone longer without recognition than anyone should have ever had to have been. The numbers above look impressive, but they pale in comparison to the grander picture. It has been over a year and a half since Mark was last properly recognized for the copious amounts of work he does for this club, day in and day out.
Since March of 2014, Mark has quite frankly been a juggernaut of activity. He has participated in in over 220 competitions, a number which includes perfect participation in both the Fading Light Rite of Supremacy and Great Jedi War XI. He has shown his skill by earning 4 Nova, 51 individual crescents, 10 pendants of blood, 1750+ gaming clusters, over 250 clusters of ice, and 17 legions of the scholar. He has shown his devotion to service in the Brotherhood during his 6 month terms as Clan Rollmaster of Arcona, and serving as a Battleteam leader, including having hosted or co-hosted over 40 competitions. As though all of that may not already be enough, somehow during that time Mark has also managed to find time to write over 75000 words of fiction for the Dark Brotherhood, and gain 7 Shadow Academy Degrees while passing 31 courses.
When it boils down to it… Mark is prolific, and the fact that he has gone so long without being recognized for his efforts is, in my opinion, one of the bigger tragedies in the Brotherhood’s recent history. Thankfully, I am in a position to do something about righting that wrong. As such, I heartily recommend that Andrelious J Mimosa-Inahj be awarded an Amethyst Kukri in recognition and thanks for all of his prodigious achievements within the Dark Brotherhood.

Mark… Mark’s scary, but not in a bad way. He is the single most active person in Dinaari, and that is awesome. Since he joined Taldryan, and Dinaari, I’ve received a metric ton of emails of him doing stuff, and I love it. In his short time here, he has participated in roughly thirty-five competitions placing in about half of them, which garnered him two Crescents with a Diamond Star, four Crescents with an Amethyst Star, four Crescents with a Sapphire Star and two Crescents with an Emerald Star. Along with this, he’s been working on his Dozen of Games: Taldryan series for the past eight weeks with no complaint, and has kept people updating on who’s in what place.
Not only does he participate in a large number of competitions, he’s an avid gamer earning three hundred Clusters of Fire, one hundred-eighty Clusters of Earth, and four Pendants of Blood.
Along with everything else, he kills it in the ACC and the fictional aspects of the Brotherhood, having written over five thousand [5000+] words of fiction and participating in in thirty-five ACC matches which has garnered him with thirty-three Clusters of Ice.. As well as always being up for a chat about how our character would interact and how he would take it being under the rule of an non-Force user.
All in all, I am very proud, and pleased, to be able to recommend such an active and dedicated member of the Brotherhood to be rewarded with his first Amethyst Kukri, and his second Sacramental Award.

There are many times when leadership is more about inspiring others to do things; than it is actually doing things. Having members who take on these tasks and make them their own is the ideal member within the DJB. Mark has been asked to help Dinaari to become the premiere gaming house within the DJB. He has run with this side project; bringing fresh new ideas into the house; giving the clan an idea of competitions and ways to run them in the future for the entire DJB. Organizing 12 different competitions each week over a 12 week course can be tiring, frustrating, and irritating; but Mark has prevailed without a single whine or a delayed response in all 8 of these tasks so far.
Mark’s level of activity within the house has been extraordinary. Every day that goes by; I have several emails of him completing training; or starting yet another battle in the ACC. He’s a powerhouse of activity; something I wish all members within the house were; honestly something I aspire to be.

Mark is a newcomer to Taldryan - having only joined us two months ago, in July of 2015. In that time, Mark has had the time and drive to complete in over thirty competitions and organize ten of them. Hell, Mark took the time to organize a competition on his very first full day in Taldryan. If that doesn’t speak for his drive to put in the effort? Nothing does. Like Yacks, I consider myself to be one of the most active people in the Brotherhood - and I try to participate in as many competitions as I can - and I think I’m pretty successful at it. But hell, this newcomer to Taldryan puts me to shame.
Yacks has described Mark’s competition accolades, his numerous crescents, clusters, pendants, scrolls, and even novae. These numbers are a testament to the drive and work he’s put into the Brotherhood in the past 18 or so months. Those 18 months have included the rite of supremacy/weird vendetta called Fading Light, and the 11th Great Jedi War.
The Amethyst Kukri is almost exclusively awarded to members of the Brotherhood who contribute to its overall health, there’s almost always a DB-wide aspect. In Mark’s case? The scope and scale of his efforts over the past year and a half put him on that Brotherhood wide scale. Just as significantly, the fact that he has gone this long without recognition from his club, makes this a special, one time case. In all honesty, I should not even be writing this kind of award recommendation. Mark did not fail in keeping his insane activity levels up since he earned a Sapphire Blade, but the Brotherhood failed him. I, and Clan Taldryan, will not contribute to that failure.
Truly speaking, if there is a member of our club that is more active - active in the truest sense of the word? I’d like to meet this person. But I suspect? That other person doesn’t exist. Because that person is Warlord Andrelious J. Mimosa-Inahj. For his massive contributions to our club, and the fact that he has gone unrecognized for so long - so long that the length of time bordered on the preposterous, I heartily recommend Mark for the Amethyst Kukri!

Mark is a likewise talented and ambitious member. As part of the Taldryan Summit, he is extremely reliable and always present. Within the Summit he is marvelous at dealing with his day-to-day tasks as Aedile and most recently as Quaestor while always providing the other members of the Summit with his own opinions but doesn't refrain from calling us wrong when needed. It is a valuable treat for summiters to not only have a personal opinion but standing tall for it as well and Mark is doing it without hesitation.
Over the course of the past year Mark has gone up and beyond the normal levels of activity, not only participating in the majority of all Taldryan competitions but usually placing among the Top 3 of them as well which clearly defines him as what is called "leading by example". At the same time Mark is known for running multiple series of Brotherhood-wide competitions ranging from short fictions like the Maximum Brevesty Series over his Dozen of Games Series to the well known Sporcle Series Trivia competitions.
In terms of most recent activities, Mark has set out as part of a two person team creating the proposal for a fictional counterpart to Taldryan's House Ektrosis, without having been officially tasked with it. In an attempt to further the experiences of Taldryan's members he constructed all the structures described in the final proposal that was submitted to the Dark Council from the basic rank lay out and names to the fictional relation of the House to the Clan Summit and the House Ektrosis of Taldryan as its counterpart. All in all the final document summed up to four pages filled with details ranging from individual and unit progression to fictional backgrounds and ooc reasonings for opening a second House. This eventually led to us re-opening a second House for the Clan of which Mark took upon the mantle of Quaestor. As Quaestor he immediately set out to continue the work that begun with the proposal but had to be refined so it can be brought to use in the way the Clan is seeking to move on for the upcoming months.
On a Brotherhood wide level, Mark has been on the forefront during the recent Rite of Supremacy, participating in a nearly half of all available events while scoring a Bronze Nova for the success of the Clan, putting him among the Top 5 overall members of Taldryan.
The Amethyst Kukri is awarded for working on Clan Level projects, or on projects for the Dark Council. It is given to a member who has shown a level of dedication and focus to further one aspect of the Brotherhood that goes far beyond what is expected of them. Taldryan has become a second home for Mark. He goes up and beyond to further its rebuild and revival to become a top level unit of the Brotherhood again. For these, and many more reasons, I recommend that Andrelious Mimosa-Inahj be rewarded with an Amethyst Kukri.

Andrelious aka “Andrel” continues to be both a fierce competitor and a generator of content for others. Andrel’s activity level remains at the highest of levels. On a personal level, Andrel has participated in an astounding 94 competitions since his last award in May of this year. His submissions were also of high quality because he scooped up a bucket load of Crescents, 29 in total, adding in the Bronze Nova that gave him a placement rate of 32%. He also is a prolific writer, adding over 25,000 words of fiction over 17 activities and nine run-on posts. Just for good measure he also tossed in three Shadow Academy courses, 130 Clusters of Fire, 85 Clusters of Ice, 78 Clusters of Earth, 11 Clusters of Graphite and eight Legions of the Scholar. I want to especially call out Andrel’s performance in the 2018 Pro Bowl.
Not only did he submit to every event, he placed third overall for the entire three-week cross-clan competition! This event carried a lot of importance as a showcase of where our House has come since 2018 started and having Andrel perform at such a high level is exactly what we needed. While he was the Aedile of Ektrosis, he has also been particularly active. Since May he has hosted another 19 competitions between the Sphere of Research and Intelligence and his own Dozen of Games, Sporcle and Maximum Brevity series competitions. Many of these were at the club-wide level as a way to put Taldryan and Ektrosis back in the minds of other members, an idea that came directly from Andrel. He also created and personally tracked the Ektrosis activity for the Pro Bowl in a spreadsheet so we could properly assess just how we all performed as a House. As important as all of this is, Andrel was and remains a fantastic “partner in crime”. As Ektrosis' Aedile, we had regular, in-depth discussions regarding ideas for House events and overall strategy. While working on Project Starlight, the reopening of House Archanis, Andrel contributed greatly with regards to Clan and Club history and ideas for the fictional development of the reopened House. Even though he is no Quaestor of Archanis I don't foresee that we will collaborate on any less of a level.
I feel that I can share any idea with him and together we can work through its merits and develop it into a final thought. I think we make a fantastic team and much of what he brings to our Clan doesn’t fit into clusters and crescents. While the quantifiable activity is in many cases what we award these medals for, I want to say that I would personally give Andrelious one based on these qualitative contributions as well.
