Rhent "Goose" Ghosan has a unique and efficient working relationship with his old friend and colleague Telaris "Mav" Cantor. Due to their time together a friendly bond has been fostered. Indeed, due to Mav being the person who recruited Ghosan to the Dark Brotherhood, "Goose" sees Mav more as a friend and boss than as a powerful faction leader to be feared. This friendship is seen as a threat by many, who are jealous of this relationship and seek to alienate the two from each other.

The scope and scale of the Iron Throne is staggering. The sheer escapades an climactic events that occur daily within the Arx System are bewildering and enthralling to most other men. However, Ghosan is not like other men. The Goose sticks to what he knows and what he does best, and that is leading the ACE. His mind is sharply focused on facts, figures, production schedules, manpower, and payroll. While others look down upon Ghosan for this, and tend to underestimate his ambitions he knows some very basic facts; the balance sheets must match and deadlines must be met at any cost.

Rhent Ghosan appears to be a mild mannered and cautious individual. Due to this, most see him as unambitious and lacking the cunning and ruthlessness to survive atop his position of power leading a major conglomeration at the center of the Arx System. However, this acuity and self-control is the key to Ghosan's success. Never flying off at the handle, never giving into his emotions, he earned the nickname the Goose by appearing as a cool and calculated individual without a malicious bone in his body. Most simply write him off as a civilian in a suit, but this underestimation is what has allowed the Goose to not only survive but thrive in business and pull off deals seemingly against all odds.

At heart Rhent Ghosan is a philanthropist, seeking to generate profits and run the most efficient enterprise possible in order to benefit the greater good. While others might say this capitalistic outlook is based on greed, Ghosan sees material wealth and industrial progress as a means of bettering the subjects of the Iron Throne. In this manner, Ghosan ruthlessly seeks out the best investments and will do anything needed to takeover a company that will benefit the ACE portfolio. This history of hostile takeovers and forceful mergers and acquisitions has made the Goose many enemies however.

Rhent Ghosan is simply not a fighter. While adequately trained in the art of self defense and a proven marksman, he has never been in a true battle and has never felt the rush of adrenaline when his life is on the line. The Goose, instead, tries to talk his way out of any engagement and downplays the threat of danger when dealing with adversaries. This most often works, and Ghosan has the perfect skin free of battle scars and war wounds. However, when pressed with a determine adversary he would be of little use in battle.

Rhent Ghosan has made many enemies in his business career. Likewise, he has made fortunes for his allies and superiors. While not a proven combatant, Goose is wise enough to never enter into a potentially hostile environment without his friends and colleagues. Ghosan is a valuable asset to the Iron Throne, and as such it is in the best interest of those around him to lend their protection. This fact often does not go unnoticed, and the Goose is often seen as a high value target.
