Dreadful as it may be, sometimes in the life of the Brotherhood people just don't have time to connect. It's hard to form a relationship when the world keeps blowing up around you and you don't have time to slow down and talk about things with a new acquaintance that might be interesting if you just had the bloody time.

Luckily the holonet and friends/colleagues/not quite enemies are always there for the time-honored tradition of setting you up on a blind date. With a stranger. Probably.

With a minimum of 500 words, and no limit, write a story about one of your characters being set up or going on a blind date with someone. How does it go? Where do you go? Disaster? Sparks? Sparking disasters?

Please obtain permission for any characters used that are not your own.

Be aware that the Ryn has no qualms with mature-ish themes as long as they're tasteful, and if you have any question of 'publish or not should I?' then don't publish.

We'll be using the Voice's grading rubric to determine winners. Please submit in pdf, doc, docx etc. Gdoc links and textbox submissions will not be accepted and will result in disqualification.
