| ***STILL IN DEVELOPMENT*** Below are the links to the various Clan's Force powers that have
been worked up into the 'proposed' ACC usage format. They are not
'official', by any means, and Clan Force powers are still not
allowed in regular usage within the ACC.
Goal: To finally allow Clan Force powers in the ACC
Conversion: Whether stated or not in Clan power write ups,
all Clans powers will be 'reconstructed' to fit into a universal
system of "levels" that apply to the DB classes. In some cases,
Clans have stipulated ranks associated with powers and those have
been addressed. Others did not have a 'defined' format and have been
converted. The end product will result in an attempt to have a
universal system whereby a PRT from one Clan (for example) will have
the same points available for use in their Clan powers as a PRT from
another.
Elder/Mastery: Some Clans don't address a segregation
between the Elder ranks and Mastery - therefore, they have been
split here baring contradiction to power descriptions. That is, if a
power stipulates (by virtue of the Clan's description) that it is
available to the CON (despite rank) while primarily being a
"Mastery" power, then it is allowed.
ACC's Involvement: The ACC is not going to redefine the
powers of the Clan's (with the exception of such actions as applying
them to a class), nor will the ACC attempt to 'explain' their usage
because it should be covered in the power's description. As stated,
what the ACC will do is align all Clan powers to as close to
'universal' as possible as far as the usage is concerned. Some Clans
will remain in their format, such as Arcona, due to the structure of
their powers - but they will be granted no more points than anyone
else.
Editing: Should a clan wish to reformat descriptions of
powers, they are more than free to do so. In fact, some powers -
such as CNS's (which have been removed from the description) - put
requirements on what one must do to attain a power, which won't be
upheld in the ACC. It should go without saying that, if a Clan
member uses a power, the Judge is not going to go to the dossier to
see if the individual has earned their 3 merit awards since using
the power in the post of the battle - that would be too nutz. At any
rate, in cases such as these, the ACC is 'granting' ability-based on
class-to everyone: If that does not jive with the way you want your
powers used - speak up!!! We can either a) work something out with
our concessions to you, b) edit your info to be inline with the
other Clans or c) just disallow the use of your Clan's powers in the
ACC at your request.
Tables:
| Power Level |
Cost |
Rank |
| This is the column that addresses the level
of the power |
This is the power's cost which is simply the Level plus
1. So, a Level 1 power costs 2 points |
This column addresses the rank of the individual in
question and the amount of points they have. The points are
based on how many times the power can be used, not it's
strength or success. So, a DJK with 20 points for Level 3
powers can use those powers up to 5 times in a battle (i.e.
Level 3 power = 4 points for cost; DJK has 20 points for
Level 3 powers; 4x5=20) |
Power Descriptions: The power descriptions listed for each
Clan (apart from 'some' spelling changes) are the exact descriptions
supplied by the Clans.
