The Marksman "Virtuous Edition" Battle Droid Remote is a modified version of the Marksman-H Training Remote. In addition to firing blaster bolts from its main spherical sensor, it has four extra hidden blasters that can deploy out of either side and increased reaction speed due to additional repulsors.
The Ball has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, The Ball will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to The Ball.
The Ball has been modified with an experimental shield generator inside its chassis, allowing this Marksman "Virtuous Edition" Battle Droid Remote to absorb 3-5 direct hits from a blaster or bladed weapon before taking damage. This shield is not lightsaber resistant.
The Ball has had a small retractable ion scrambler fitted, enabling it to stun and fry the circuits of other droids or technology just outside melee range.
This Marksman "Virtuous Edition" Battle Droid Remote has been upgraded with an advanced electrical defense grid that allows The Ball to operate at a reduced capacity when hit with ionized electricity, and prevents any permanent damage or loss of functionality.
The Ball has been painted battleship grey with ochre accents.
