Ood Bnar has been one of the most active members in Ebo Cloak Phyle for the last month. His IRC presence, (Only on weekends as he attends a boarding school) is outstanding under the circumstances. He consitantly has new ideas for both the phyle and the house, and submits regularily to competitions. He has also shown great activity in the SA, completing 18 courses (excluding the Test of Lore)

Ood has provided major help with the Caliburnus homepage. Not only has this help been 100% voluntary with no indication from me that I needed it, he is not even in my house, and has also been giving help to the HAD homepage at the same time. For me, he has compiled a Caliburnus History, a list of previous QUA's and AED's. Some competition ideas from previous QUA's, and general advice and feedback like the idea of adding a link to the CSP promotion guidelines. Ood has been a great help to me, and deserves recognition for this.

Full participation in "Into the Unknown" a CSP RPG Event.

Into the Unknown - Part 1 - was what can be described as a 'live' RPG conducted over IRC (#krath) by Game Master Niemand. It placed a series of adventurers on a quest into a temple found during the "Quest for Caliburnus" as they sought out great treasures, artifacts and additional items to increase their own power and that of Scholae Palatinae.

The event was chronicled and dated... taking well over two months... countless hours... and inspiring countless hours of fun, hilarious stories and comradery within the group of adventurers!

Scholae Palatinae battled through the Seventh Great Jedi War to attain the prestigious title of Second Clan. Under the banner of the dragon, fifty three (53) individuals contributed to our final standings - assisting in a multitude of manners across a broad spectrum of events. Of these warriors, I present an individual of great achievement before the Master At Arms to be rewarded for their contributions in this Vendetta.

Ood provided CSP a single Run-On post, attempted twelve ACC matches and two fiction entries. This singular sense of dedication in the midst of his very trying personal life scenario (college finals) shows his dedication to the Clan. Each of these tasks required laborious writing and it is my honor to recognize his contributions here. Additionally, Ood has provided a rough draft for the CSP SA exam; and while it may not be finished, it is a solid source of information. Beyond this, he has contributed some minor research to the CSP Paths project to help assist in the background of the 'Traditional Path's section.

Ood recently became the de facto leader of the Clan Plagueis, and the Houses, forums. His task forced him to wade through countless topics of spam and dead ends. Yet, in the end, he identified which topics should be deleted, which topics should be locked, those that should be set invisible and what should be pinned to the top. He also began a trend in the Clan - Forum Awareness.

In addition to cleaning up a mess, he sends e-mails to the Clan to encourage people to visit (and post). He also e-mails new members, walking them through the steps to registering on the forums and completing a basic, fundamental task on the road to Dark Jedi Knight. So far, I have seen numerous (seven) new Journeymen flock to the forums and create a buzz around using the medium once again. To continue encouraging this behavior, Ood runs two weekly competitions (Braecen Said What? & Caption Contest). He sends a weekly recap, a mid-week reminder and provides the necessary data for the medals to be recc'd by a superior with access to do so. So far, he has encouraged over thirty submissions in three weeks!

In the Great Jedi War, Plagueis moved from 6th Place overall up to 4th and contended for a higher position through most of the War, even holding 2nd Place at one point. Many of the Members of Plagueis did extremely well. Ood helped Plagueis by receiving 4 Seals of Unity. Congrats, Ood!

I would hereby like to award Ood with a Dark Cross for his contribution to Arcona’s domination in Horizons by participating in four events. These events were: Week 1 ID Scan, Week 1 Trivia, Week 3 Trivia and the Run-On. Despite having real life commitments, Ood chose to take time out to enter those competitions.

If that was not enough on his own, Ood has since getting his boots in the ground inside of Arcona, he has asked if any work needs to be done, and be more than willing to help with House work. Though he has a busy schedule, he has been a constant presence on IRC during Horizons, helping motivate other members at the same time. He has also been a powerhouse in gaming, earning 160 CFs through ToR, encouraging activity amongst other DB members as they go on raids. Ood has been a pillar of the Arconan community over the past few weeks. He has provided no end of help to a number of the newer members, along with being a first point of contact for many when it comes to Journeyman-related questions.

He has endeavoured to help any and all who come to ask it of him. His recent work includes aiding Nath Voth in her role as a journeyman, and, more recently, assisting our newest recruit Anduriel with their promotion tasks, their activity, and their understanding of the Brotherhood.

This has resulted in the aforementioned members being awarded for exceeding all time-in-rank expectations. And I dare say this is, in large part, due to Ood's efforts.

It is for this reason I extend a small token of my gratitude.

It is my pleasure to recommend Ood for this Dark Cross, during my short time as Battle Team Leader Ood has been both active and helpful assisting myself in the new position, as well as helping activity in Clan Arcona and House Galeres.

Since my appointment to Battle Team Leader. He has been helpful and communicative. Assisting me in understanding what members would like to see from the team and offering further assistance in email format. He has taken the time to do this even when he himself has a full work load at this current moment in time. Showing his ability to multitask and his willingness to help younger members.
