Callus has been a necessary, driving force in Clan Plagueis well before my arrival as Consul of the Clan. In that time, he took it upon himself to revamp a failing Envoy Program - in hopes of seeing the changes stimulate change and create success amongst our members under the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. He reorganized the Envoy duties (KCE & CCE), drafted new letters, and created a MSP Page on the DB Wiki for Clan Plagueis. In addition, he took the steer by the horns and became a more active presence within the individual pairings.

He also created a Clan Envoy e-mail address, allowing for the CON/PCON/QUAs to see that he was, in fact, continually contacting new Initiates and Journeymen to help shape their development and growth. This sort of 'access' into one's e-mail is something that goes well beyond the normal expectations of leadership and shows - to me, at least - that he serves at the request of the Clan and for the Brotherhood as a role model and leader.

In addition to his duties as a Knight-Class Envoy, he also served as a Master to Nekaka and Strats. He brought both of them to their current rank (Jedi Hunter) as Apprentices and has had a heavy influence in their successes: individually and as leaders.

For being a stalwart Roll Master/Envoy and a successful mentor - I believe he has earned the previlige of his first Steel Cross.

Since Plagueis made the transition from House to Clan, Callus has been a key part into making things work. I didn't know much about him when he was appointed as my Aedile, but he's come to be an important part of the team since then. He's helped keep me on course as I made the transition from RM to Quaestor and has been an invaluable source of advice. This, I think, would be enough to merit recognition, but Callus' contributions don't stop there.

Callus has been rather active on the gaming front, earning over 50 CFs since we clanned. He was also an active participant in the Fading Light run on competition. His leadership helped his team to qualify and help Plagueis be the only unit that qualified all the teams it entered. As our esteemed consul would say, Good Work Son!

Thanks man, you deserve this!

Quaestor of Karness Muur

Callus is an old hand at leadership in the Brotherhood. As a longtime member of Clan Plagueis, once holding the Clan Envoy position, he has a wealth of experience and knowledge upon which he can draw. When he returned to Plagueis following at stint in the rogues, he immediately offered his services in the effort to restore Plagueis to clanhood. His steady hand made him an obvious pick for a house summit posititon, and he has done an excellent job in the role thus far.

He is a superb resource for his members, his Quaestor, and his Clan summit. Keep it up, Callus!

Some leaders operate largely from the shadows, maintaing the intricate mechanics of their role that keeps the unit alive and well. Callus, day to day, is your standard member. He is one of Plagueis’ most avid gamers (see Clusters of Fire) and communicators. As Aedile, many of the public acts are done in Kz’set’s name, but do not think Callus’ influence is not there. He is a primary voice in summit discussions and works not only to aid his Quaestor in keeping him sane, organized, and provide prospective, but has also aided me as Plagueis’ new Rollmaster. Callus has experience as Rollmaster, and was quick to offer me documents and advice on his systems and how he thought my system could be improved. Even as things settle down, he continues to offer advice and assistance both as a leader and friend. His work behind the scenes is as vital as the public face, and Callus is as instrumental to our success in the last two months as a clan as any other leader. Thank you, Callus, keep on trucking ~ DA Aabsdu Dupar, Rollmaster of Clan Plagueis

Since his last Steel Cross in April, Callus has continued to performed admirably as Aedile of House Karness Muur. He remains one of Plagueis’ regular TOR gamers with the Clusters of Fire to match and a Pendant of Blood to validate, he continues to participate in competitions, communication regularly with his house, and proudly represented Clan Plagueis in the Fading Light Runon event and and the ACC Beta tournament. During the recent Plagueis house feud “Sphere of Influence,” Callus played the role of member and leader to the tee. He participated in four events despite being by and large away from a computer in real life, but more importantly he sent out reminders to the house about the events and encouraged everyone he could catch on IRC or bug over email about participating. Callus remains one of Plagueis’ most dedicated, consistent, and loyal members and competent leaders. Thank you, once again, for your hard work and service ~ DA Aabsdu Dupar, Consul of Plagueis

Callus has been everything I could ask of an Aedile. He's been a constant source of support, input, and assistance in every way I could expect. Not only has he helped drive activity, he's helped keep me on task when I needed a nudge. He was reasonably active during the Fading Light Feud, both before and during, despite having a busy work schedule. You've earned this sir!

Callus has recently stepped up from AED to QUA of House Karness Murr. He participated in Fading Light: Nicht Ka in the Fiction and Trivia events, and has managed the House without an AED for a month already. Before then, while he was AED, Arden and I had asked Callus to pull double duty and run the AoS Battle Team for several weeks while we searched for a BTL. Stirring up activity like this is work that often goes under the radar, and often feels thankless, yet Callus accepted the responsibility without question or complaint, promptly running a competition for the Battle Team. Callus is also one of Plagueis’ most regular gamers, participating in TOR raids on almost a weekly basis, with more than 150 Clusters of Fire in the past few months to prove it, as well as 7 assorted other competitions in the last 4 months.

Over the past couple months, I’ve been quite impressed by Callus’ performance. To start with, he’s done a stellar job running House Karness Muur. During the Great Jedi War, he competed in 9 of the 11 events and was an important part of our unit’s motivational efforts. Beyond that, he was an important part of several team events, including a run-on team that finished an impressive 9th. Before that, he competed in five of eight events in the Anchorage event, taking home a second place crescent in the process. When you add his active TOR raid participation, you get a person more than worthy of an award of this stature.

Good job sir!

Well I can only big up my boss here. Loyal, steadfast, committed and a great friend since I joined the DJB, Callus remains one of the defining figures in my time in the Brotherhood. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I stepped into the HKM Aedile position, bt Callus contacted me, nurtured me and we started to plan things out for the House immediately. I cannot stress how important his commitment to getting things rolling for the House has been, and I’m pretty sure that soon we will have huge activity from our members as we put into practice some of the ideas we have floating around in our heads for them all to do; thanks to Callus. He’s a motivator, a leader and above all, a friend. He has HKM and the Brotherhood to help and he plans on doing just that. This is a deserved award and I can’t recommend him enough for the Grand Cross. Great work, boss! Keep it up.

I am proud to have had the chance to work alongside Callus in a number of areas, but it's a special privilege to recognize his efforts. Callus's tenure as Quaestor of House Karness Muur over the past nine months has been recognized through prior awards, but the time since has been marked with the same fierce activity in TOR as he reached the level cap three times since February, earning a trio of Pendants of Blood, as well as earning 89 Clusters of Earth.

His activity hasn't been limited to the gaming sphere, either. He has been an active participant in the ACC, in competitions such as the Tarentum-Plagueis cooperative event "Forged Alliances" where he placed in Round 1's Caption competition, and fostering the growth of his House and Clan by recruiting (Jai'de Serpens) and mentoring (Kelly Mendes) members who have since become the backbone of Plagueis's activity. Even when he hasn't been able to get his own hat into the competitive ring, he organized or co-organized a total of 23 competitions.

And while hurricanes and real-life have definitely challenged Callus over the past months, I am proud to recognize his continued achievements in Plagueis with this Steel Cross.
