Competition: Planet Landmark #4

Finished
Planet Landmark #4

With our relocation to Korus, it gives us a clean slate to world build from. As of right now, there is nothing on Korus except the Kast War Forge, and that needs to change.

Korus is a sandy desert planet, with extreme temperature swings (unbearably hot during the day and crazy cold at night) around the the equator, this area is inhospitable to MOST lifeforms.

The majority of the rest of the planet is your standard desert biome, while the poles consist of a cool desert biome that are much more hospitable to all life (flora and fauna, think Sedona, AZ).

Instructions:

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to provide ONE (1) sci fi -esque planetary landmark that can be added to the Korus Map and a small explanation behind it.

Grading:

Submissions will be graded by awesomeness, ability to develop them in or into future story lines, as well as being able to fit the theme of a barren, desert planet.

Ricmore’s Regal Repository

Ricmore’s Repository serves as an onsite location for Deathwatch and Vizsla members to acquire various fictional possessions. It is a store with an attached garage and large landing pad. The shop trades and houses inventory with the various Regent stores and allows members the opportunity to purchase fictional goods without need to travel to the Arx System.

The shop is capable of catering to members' needs and desires from weapons and armor to vehicles. It works closely with the Kast Forge to ensure members have access to high quality and customizable items.

Filagrim’s Trader’s Layover

Located at the center of the southern pole is Filagrim’s Trader’s Layover. A decent sized compound consisting of an ever popular bar/eatery, spacious and cheap accommodations, and the main event so to say, an ever present half a km square market where traders and locals alike come to sell their goods and sample galactic cuisine. Considered to be one of the safest spots on the planet, thanks to self proclaimed “Lord of the Realm” Filagrim and his hired guards, where all offenses are capital offenses.
