Primary reason: Shaz'air Taldrya, otherwise and henceforth known as Sid, started off the Dark Crusades in the position I am currently in now, second in command of Taldryan. For the first few rounds of the Dark Crusades, Sid pushed Taldryan forward, finding ways to compete despite what can be at best be called a dodgy computer. Sid was the epitome of leading by example then, and even since his retirement from leadership, he has continued leading in the only way he knows how: by example.

Since stepping down from Leadership Sid has only stepped up his game, participating in more events, and encouraging the members even more. In total, Sid has participated in over three quarters of the events in the Dark Crusades, including near perfect participation on Taldryan's A-Team, and earning himself 8 Nova, placing in a full third of the events he participated in. For this, I am proud to award him a Steel Cross.

Additional reasons: Shaz'air Taldrya, aka Sid, has, along a few others, been the one always inspiring me and pushing me to what I am today, no matter if his computer worked or he has been forced to rely onto the computer of someone else or use his mobile, he always did the best he could to lead by example. Sid has made me everything I am now and by the time the Crusade started, Sid has been my Aedile, participating in two third of the events, while regularly informing and reminding the members of the House on the events currently going on. Then when Sid stepped down, he even didn't thought of giving himself some sort of time-out to relax, he used the newly gained time he would otherwise spend on leadership duties with stepping up his game, increasing his participation ratio to over three fourth of all available events and placed in eight of them. Thank you Sid, for your dedication and the hard work you have put in through the last year, please take this Steel Cross as small token of appretiation.
