So, It's summer now for me. And well....this week has almost been more 
stressful than the weeks of exams. Don't get me wrong, exams sucked ass, but 
running the Rebirth stuff at 100% is like -- well -- it's rough. Basically, 
the last 7 days of being GM have been a basic full-time job. I have been so 
antsy with making sure everyone is doing something and trying to push things 
through, I really haven't had a chance to enjoy the summer yet.  



Well -- except for yesterday. I didn't get a damn thing done yesterday and 
for good cause too. If you haven't seen the movie yet -- go out there now. I 
wrote up my
[
review](http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=875&hl=) of the movie....I thought it rocked hard core. I'm gonna go see 
it again (3rd time) Sunday probably.  



The fiancee is going home this weekend. I'll have some good &quot;time off&quot; then. 
Hopefully I'll be able to get a lot done.  



Saturday I'm going golfing with the fraternity. Should be fun. :) I suck.

I'm pumped.  



I was talking with Mav the other day about this: it's been a long time since 
we've seen the amount of energy in the DB go at the level it is now. People 
are online, active, talking, working, and getting shit done. It's amazing 
what a little time and a lot of inspiration can do. Best of all, the 
excitement about Episode III is bringing new people into the club. Spears 
has been reporting record numbers of joins and activations. I check the site 
stats last night -- we are getting almost 15% more unique visitors to the 
site per day. Things are really starting to pick up.  



I am glad that Rebirth is finally coming into focus for everyone. I have yet 
to receive a single complaint from someone saying they didn't like the 
project. I think everyone understands where we need to go and why we need to 
go there. Now it is a matter of hunkering down and making it happen.  



I sincerely hope that this level of activity can continue throughout the 
summer and into the fall. Keeping the pace that we have is going to be 
instrumental to the long term success of this club. I am going to do my part 
to keep us going, but everyone has a place and should be doing their part. 
If you ever find yourself bored -- really, talk to your leaders. There's 
always something to o.  



Let's keep this up.

How sweet is it when you don't write a report for a month and then realize 
that you can just reuse the last report's stuff with different dates. Yeah 
-- it's awesome.

<>- Rebirth Update -</td>

So, in the past 10 days, we have seen a flurry of activity in regards to 
project Rebirth. We have made substantial progress on things and I am 
encouraged by the results so far. Here are some of the things that have gone 
down this week:  



- Aerick was officially added as the fourth Rebirth coder. He is P:SCL and 
is working on the Rebirth polling system. He's making good progress there.  

- CG and Jam3z have updated all of the documentation for the Rebirth website  

- CG has coded the system for creating SA courses, editing those courses and 
grading those courses. Spears is now testing that system  

- Jam3z has made the functionality for adding title images to pages  

- I have been working on the roster administration. I have a good plan in 
place and I think people will be very happy with it.  

- New layout for the current site. Booyah.  

- Calendar has been created and kept up-to-date  

- The HRLD staff has met and gone through further GoA plans  

- The Rite of Combat have been in intense discussion and are in the final 
stages of release  

- The envoys have had a societal upgrade  

- The newest Test of Lore has gone through the final draft stage and is 
getting looked at by the order leaders  

- CG has started on the new Join form  

- Jam3z is working on the request approval system  

- Mav is almost done with OoB updates. Just getting the updates proofed now.  

- The IGs were launched (not really Rebirth, but hey, it happened)  

- The Position handbook project was started. This is a project that will end 
with a manual for every position in the Brotherhood.  



Coming up this week we will see the Roster backend finished, the Join forms 
will be done, the request approval and the polling system will be done. A 
bunch of other stuff too. :)

With the changes that Anshar has made to the society of Envoys, I have 
decided to fully restore the societal status of the group. This means they 
will again be on par with the ACC and RG. Anshar is now a semi-DC member, 
but still reports directly to Spears.  



I'd like to commend Anshar for all of his work on this. He's done a great 
job.
