Aedile Report
Welcome to these week's Exar Kun Aedile report. This past week wasn't very busy, so this report is one of my shorter ones. Still, read one to learn about what's been happening lately in the house, clan, and brotherhood!
~ The Great Jedi War has now started, and will run all the way through the end of August. For more information on that topic, however, scroll down to the war section. All Tuesday/Thursday gaming, Sunday Tournaments, and ICTE are closed for the duration of the Great Jedi War. Thus, if you're a gamer, the only way to game now is for the war, so let's get out there and show our stuff! Clan Transfers will no longer be accepted, but transfers from and to the rogues will be. As with AWOL checks, I hope to run one at least every three months.
~ The win/loss ratio for war gaming has been changed to 5/3. Hopefully, all database problems have now been fixed. Remember to go game in all the events out there right now! This is quite a few of them.
~ The results for the Suspicions event have been released. Personally, I think Plagueis did pretty well, though we are in fifth place right now. Don't worry, we're not that far away from fourth and third and second and all those other spots. I personally finished in 52nd place, yes, poetry isn't my thing. Remember that whenever you get a clue go post it in the right topic, so that we can try to unravel the mysteries around here.
~ There's not much happening in Exar Kun right now besides the war. There won't be any new competitions submitted, and Scorps and I have finished all our projects. Oh yeah, remember to go read the Exalted Lords of Kun information and the Ash Citadel Guard information. Ashura is the first Guard Commander, so talk to him if you have any questions.
~ Kainn is back from his LoA, and should have all war questions answered by tomorrow. Congrats to Muz on his recent promotion! The database problem concerning what it will approve when it comes to war submissions has been fixed. The position of the Dark Side Compendium Tribune is up for grabs, so if you're good at writing history, and know a good part of the DB's, then go out and apply for the job.
~ When Braecen was QUA he put into effect guidelines for which you would earn merit awards. It involved you doing things in the ACC, SA, and GMRG in order to earn some merits. Well, I really like the idea, so I have decided to put it into effect again. Now, some of these like the SA one are very easy, but take a little time. There are at least thirty SA courses out there, and soon more, so at all costs that challenge should be the most popular one. Already four or five people have won an award because of these, so that just goes to show that I'm not kidding. Also, in order to make sure I don't forget anyone, please email me when you complete one of the challenges listed below.

~ Battle Teams, what can I say about them? Well, if I were to describe them in one word it would be awesome. It's because of battle teams that I am a Sith Battlemaster and Aedile of this house, it's because of battle teams that Scorpius became Quaestor, Salth became Pro-Consul, despite what some may think battle teams are the base of everything that goes on around here. They're an easy way to earn medals in simple competitions, and a great way to be noticed by those higher on the totem pole then you. What I'm saying, though, is that a battle team is a great way to move up in life and flourish, so I really encourage you all to join one. Right now, we have two; Exar's Shadow that is a gaming team, and Blades of Kun that is a writing team. If you are interested in either of them, just contact the commander and me and you'll be on the roster before you can say, "Battle Teams!"
~ We weren't as busy as we usually are, but the main reason for that is that we're all focusing our attention on the war. That's what we should be doing, though, but still good job to those that were awarded medals. Congrats to Erdon on his first Steel Cross, and special congrats to Vasily on his promotion to Sith Warrior. Welcome to the Equite class!

I have decided to simply link you to the forum where you can find all of our clan's war information. Of course, if you don't know the password then you can't get on, but most of you who read Kainn's email should know it. This past week was much more busy then usual, especially with everyone learning that there are now two Jacs! Which one is the real Grand Master? That's for you to find out, go to your administration page and choose your side today! If you don't choose a side, then you can't win any points, so, you know.
As this war progresses, the plot will thicken and greater events will start to unfold. The trick is that we as members write this plot, with some help from Kainn of course, so all of what's happened already can be found on the Sixth Great Jedi War website under plot. This is also where you will find point totals, news, rules, and events. I am keeping track of who submits to events, or at least those that are emailed to me, so I'll see about awarding those of you who participate a lot.

That's my report. Hope you all enjoyed, and keep it up younglings. I see Exar Kun gaining many new knights in the all too near future! Remember to participate in the war, certainly the run-on! Exar Kun isn't doing all that well in the run-on, so come one! Remember that if you post one time for at least five weeks you'll automatically get a nova!
