Standing at 6'2, Vrayth cuts a striking posture with golden tannish skin and purple eyes common to people of the Mirialan species. Despite being what is commonly referred to as middle-aged, he has kept his body in good shape with the honed muscles of an athlete. While bearing strong cheeks and jawline, a kind set in his amethyst eyes and the short messy mop of sand-colored hair that crowns his head gives him an appearance widely seen as handsome.
As with most other members of the Mirialan species, Vrayth's face and body are dotted with symmetrical tattoos of dark color that mark tasks he has accomplished. Most prominently a cluster of diamond-shaped tattoos can be found running a line under each of his eyes with one slightly larger adorning the back of his nose while his chin is broken up by triangle-shaped tattoos. Less visible, similar tattoos can be found between his shoulder blades and on the inside of his wrists.
Vrayth Arastair Xyler's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Vrayth Arastair Xyler has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Vrayth Arastair Xyler a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...
Vrayth Arastair Xyler is a fierce persona, shrewd, steadfast, strong. An unwavering force on any stage, may it be combative or political, he carefully measures his actions making sure to account for every possible scenario he might encounter - garnering him the aforementioned moniker. While these traits may be incredibly practical and often life-saving, this perpetual air of patience and foresight surrounding him does not always translate well to the tense situations where one would do better listening to his gut.
Vrayth Arastair Xyler is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Vrayth Arastair Xyler to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Vrayth Arastair Xyler can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
Known to be wise beyond his years, Vrayth Xyler generally remains laid-back in front of those close to him, whereas in front of others he tends to keep his sharp mind shrouded behind a mask of sarcasm and a dry sense of humor. In response, putting up this image of a haughty and arrogant exterior draws a multitude of reactions ranging from amusement to annoyance and even shock depending on the audience and whether or not they are used to dealing with people showing similar characteristics or not.
Rather than adhere to his chosen forms philosophy of moderation over aggression, Vrayth Arastair Xyler blended his combat experiences and knowledge of both Niman and Djem So into a unique style, chaining speed-oriented blade work with quick devastating lightsaber strikes and powerful physical attacks meant to rapidly overwhelm an opponent before moving on to the next. His defense, however, is much closer to his mastered form’s origins: quick parries mixed with acrobatic evasions to dodge incoming attacks instead of forceful parries that would lock him into prolonged battles with a single opponent. As a result, his unique style is highly kinetic and generally requires him to deal with one opponent after another to bring in the styles full potential, while being less effective when facing multiple opponents attacking from different angles at once.
In a time where honor and fairness have become rare traits, Vrayth Arastair Xyler is one of the few to hold up to these standards, treating each and everyone with the same respect he expects them to pay towards him. Surely this could backfire at him at any given time, especially as he would rather spare the life of a disarmed opponent than take the life of a person unable to defend himself.
