While Kaito will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Kaito's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Kaito's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Kaito, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.

Kaito can be very protective, and when any of his friends are being bullied or threatened, he will step in to defend them. This can gets Kaito in trouble when he refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, his friends know that no matter what, Kaito will be there for them.

Kaito is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Kaito to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Kaito can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.

Despite his line of work, Kaito still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Kaito only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Kaito doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.

Without the gift of the Force, Kaito has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Kaito has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
