Given Jord's youthful appearance, small frame, delicate features, people often mistake her for either a very young human male, or late teenaged girl. Jord is so used to exploiting this that she has resorted to carrying on with the deception, depending on the situation. Playing pranks, goofing off, and having fun will hold a heavy sway in most of her decision making.

Masters and students form unique bonds through the Force. This allows Jord the ability to know when her Master is nearby. The bond allows for an exchange of baseline emotions like danger, excitement or encouragement. Even across systems, Jord can always feel faint echoes through the Force, with stronger emotions like death or turmoil registering in vague intuition.

Jord is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, she doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. She always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around her, and Jord is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing her terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, Jord has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about her situation, or to taunt her enemies. While some find Jord to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally Jord will get herself into more trouble than she thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.

As an apprentice, Jord is extremely competitive and strives to become the best at every task she is given. Her overzealous ambition makes her blind to the repercussions of her actions as she tries to gain her master’s approval. In combat she’s likely to try flashy techniques, or sacrifice her sure footing for a killing stroke, which often end up in a comical predicament or results in unintended consequences.

Jord has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only she could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
