Holding onto his mother's lifeless body, Nelios made a promise to her that he would become a pilot and travel the stars. Since then, Nelios has done well for himself as a fighter pilot, and has indeed travelled the stars. He holds pilots in high regard, even if just to learn from them. Given a choice, Nelios will live the life of a adrenaline-fueled fighter jockey, drinking ale with other pilots and spending time in simulators. This makes him a bit of a slacker when it comes to what he considers 'mundane' tasks, like studying manuscripts and deep meditation.

Nelios Gazeer can be very protective, and when any of his friends are being bullied or threatened, he will step in to defend them. This can gets Nelios Gazeer in trouble when he refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, his friends know that no matter what, Nelios Gazeer will be there for them.

Nelios Gazeer tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Nelios enjoys a good boasting. Rest assured that if he can get one up on you, he will. And if he can't, he'll get out there and find something to boast about to you as soon as possible.

Nelios Gazeer has been in ugly, heated situations before. Maybe at one time he would've thought twice about things like loss of civilian life, but the fact of the matter now is that "collateral damage" happens. It's cold and brutal, sure. Yet that's life in war and battle.

When it comes to a battle plan, Nelios will follow it. If things get out of hand, stick to the plan. If he's backed into a corner with no room to run? Time to arm all concussion missiles and fire. Maybe its not very clean, but an all out attack is better than waiting as the noose tightens around your neck.
