Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Ryan Hawkins retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.

Ryan Hawkins somehow always finds himself in tricky situations that put him in over his head. As such, Ryan Hawkins always seems to be digging himself out of some kind of dilemma. While this speaks to Ryan Hawkins’s ability to think outside the box to find solutions, his moral code often gets in the way of taking the easy way out.

The Jedi are selfless, caring only about others. Ryan Hawkins is compassionate, brave and always strives to represent the common good. He tries to help everyone he can, even at his own expense, and is a fine role model for others to follow.

Ryan Hawkins has a knack for making heroic entrances whenever possible. This is actually something he works at, and one of these days, he might just be a little too late.

Ryan seeks strength through his life-lone dedication to the Martial Arts. If given a chance to develop his skills in hand to hand fighting or test them, Ryan will almost never back down unless the mismatch is obvious. Ryan will always jump at an opportunity to study hand to hand styles he has never seen even if it means showing a gap or flaw in his own abilities. After combat he relives the fight with sharp clarity before being able to wind down.

While hokey religions and ancient weapons are good for most Jedi, Ryan Neale prefers the most ancient of weapons, the human body. Ryan has devoted himself heavily to the study of unarmed fighting and the weapons styles which spring from various hand to hand arts, and he will seek to employ these when able. He will fluidly shift styles between grappling, kicking, etc. depending on the foe and challenge presented. His dedication has conditioned his mind to instinctively memorize an opponents patterns in hand-to-hand combat and close quarters combat. This same focus makes him susceptible to fighting long-ranged opponents.
