Rhun grew up never knowing his family. He was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to his age, Rhun bounced from owner to owner until he became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in his life, Rhun has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, he will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises his objective.

Rhun doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Rhun sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.

Rhun prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While he is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, he toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.

Rhun doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Rhun two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Rhun often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.

Rhun works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Rhun has learned to not take jabs about his stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for his inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Rhun's discipline of never overestimating his own abilities or those of his opponents. He has trained to fully utilize his size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. He knows exactly how to leverage his weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Rhun becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.

When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Rhun? Rhun doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Rhun, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Rhun isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Rhun won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Rhun will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
