Blind Optimist (General Aspect)

Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Jala 'Rose' Zilar has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Jala 'Rose' Zilar's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Jala 'Rose' Zilar's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.

Former Slave (General Aspect)

Jala 'Rose' Zilar grew up never knowing her family. She was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to her age, Jala 'Rose' Zilar bounced from owner to owner until she became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in her life, Jala 'Rose' Zilar has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, she will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises her objective.

Don’t Stand In The Fire (Personality Aspect)

Jala 'Rose' Zilar has been patching up the wounded for years as a Medic and has come to the conclusion that more often than not, the injuries are either self inflicted or deserved. While she will always work tirelessly on behalf of her patient in an ongoing quest to preserve all life, that doesn’t stop her from scolding or belittling patients that she feels should know better than to walk into a rancor pit with a bucket of raw meat. Jala 'Rose' Zilar teeters on the line between compassion and supporting selective evolution, which can make her come off as less friendly or inviting than other medics.

He's No Good To Me Dead (Combat Aspect)

Jala 'Rose' Zilar doesn't like to kill people; instead she chooses to injure her opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.

Tiny, But Fierce (Combat Aspect)

Jala 'Rose' Zilar works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Jala 'Rose' Zilar has learned to not take jabs about her stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for her inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Jala 'Rose' Zilar's discipline of never overestimating her own abilities or those of her opponents. She has trained to fully utilize her size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. She knows exactly how to leverage her weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Jala 'Rose' Zilar becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.
