Physical Description

When in his humanoid form, Eyst Treebeard is a hulking creature standing nearly eight and a half feet tall. He has a large form paired with broad shoulders, his entire appearance muscular and intimidating by design. Treebeard's skin remains the same black ebony bark as his tree form, but a bit smoother and more refined.

Growing from the top of Eyst's head are thick cherry wood -colored locks of rope-like hair, grown slicked back out of his face. His eyes are a combination of onyx black sclera accompanied by dull emerald green irises. He saw no need to create a nose like many other of his species. The bottom of Treebeard's perfectly chiseled face is lined with a cherry wood, rope-like beard several inches long at the chin that contains a few leaves.

Regent of the Brotherhood (General Aspect)

Eyst Treebeard serves the Dark Council and Grand Master as Regent of the Brotherhood, handling Arx Capital Exchange and its vast resources and assets. He's devoted to this charge, taking his position on the Dark Council serious with utmost determination to ensure the Brotherhood and its assets both thrive and are secure of outside influences from other actors across the galaxy. Unfortunately, the position often casts a target on him.

Eyst Treebeard's position has forced him to become much more diplomatic in nature, entering into countless negotiations with parties of different gravitas and galactic standing - using his adept abilities in Farsight and title to assist him in negotiation with others and leadership of Arx Capital Exchange personnel. The Regent's necessary diplomacy acts two-fold on the Neti, often causing him to hesitate jumping straight into a conflict before attempting a negotiation to diffuse the situation, increasing risk of greater loss during battle.

The Ancient Monk (General Aspect)

Eyst Treebeard has taken a philosophical and spiritual approach to existence throughout the centuries, today walking the fine line between the dark and light sides of the Force. Once an esteemed Jedi Knight of the High Republic era, his hunger for more knowledge than offered drove him into deep studies of the Sith and pushed him away from the order. After taking the Barash Vow as penance, studying the inner workings of the Force in all its aspects became Eyst Treebeard's singular and primary focus, foregoing other aspects of life like relationships.

Eyst Treebeard's time is spent meditating and conducting research on everything related to the Force, traditions and philosophies to ancient legends. With so much of his focus on his studies, Eyst Treebeard rarely takes the time to interact with other members of the Brotherhood and forge meaningful relations, and is as a result often an outcast from those around him.

I Am Who I Am And That's Who I Am! (Personality Aspect)

Eyst Treebeard knows who he is, what he's capable of, and what knowledge he possesses. Stoic and headstrong, proud of his knowledge and abilities - yet not egotistical - Eyst Treebeard is resolute and unyielding in the way he operates. If he knows something can be done a certain way, that's just the way he'd prefer to do it or see it done. He's incredibly resistant to self-change and influence on his mental thought process, refusing to let the opinions or ideas of others influence his decision making.

Eyst Treebeard's ego is not so big as to outright dismiss the ideas offered by others, he just doesn't listen to them, hard-coded to believe his avenue is the only option. While some may salute him for being so steadfast, others might view him as brash or overly stubborn. Being so inflexible in his processes and operations will occasionally lead to stifling of Eyst Treebeard's personal growth.

Groot (Personality Aspect)

Eyst Treebeard is both a quiet and reserved individual. while he understands sarcasm, he has little of it to offer. Many may call him slow as he takes a quick moment to formulate replies, but he tries to choose the words that exit his lips carefully so that there is little to no misinterpretation.

After having spent centuries secluded from society in tree form, the subtle nuances of conversation of a galactic civilization that has changed several times over elude him. Eyst Treebeard prefers to call it like he sees it, no matter who it may offend - and it may, causing him grief that could have otherwise been avoided.

Rite Of The Beasts (Combat Aspect)

A member and evolution of nature itself, Eyst Treebeard's been known to connect to and utilize nature and fauna to assist him in times of need. Using a spiritual and Force-fed bond with creatures around him, Eyst Treebeard regularly interacts with all types and breeds, communicating and forming deeper connections the more time he spends with them. During high-stress or combat in fauna-populated areas, he will regularly seek their assistance to gain an upper edge during the confrontation and try to turn the conflict to his side.

It is rare for Eyst Treebeard to outright command a creature to aid him unless dealing with a life-or-death situation or a fauna that is so vicious he cannot form a good-faith bond with. Even still, there is the possibility that he will bite off more than he can chew and risk losing control or the beast turning on him once the target has been dispersed.

Rite of the Warrior (Combat Aspect)

When the going gets tough Eyst Treebeard isn't afraid to put up a fight. During times of combat he can be found engaging habitually with hand-to-hand combat first, seeking to disable or otherwise immobilize an opponent versus outright killing them. When fury consumes him, Eyst Treebeard will seize his lightsaber. As a master of Juyo, Eyst Treebeard is completely unpredictable - even to himself - and ferocious with a lightsaber, ignoring standardized lightsaber sequences and utilizing Trakata disengagement techniques throughout combat to catch his opponents off guard, but also prevent him from formulating a consistent strategy and relying on his wit and foresight in the Force to prevent injury or death.

Although Eyst Treebeard has been known to utilize the Force throughout either form of combat, he rarely uses it as an offensive weapon and merely uses his abilities to give himself an edge, leaving him at a clear disadvantage against ranged opponents.
