Emile saber's skills as a medic are not just limited to holo-books and lectures. He has read up and practiced a handful of experimental treatments while inventing a few home remedies of his own. This allows Emile saber to work outside the box in less than ideal situations, and can lead to him solving mysteries other trained medics might struggle with. This, of course, comes with its own string of failures, as nothing is ever perfect. That, and some of the more established professionals in the field often doubt or question Emile saber's alternative practices. He typically brushes them off in favor of doing everything he can to help a patient, but does quietly seek recognition for accomplishments as a healer.

Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Emile saber has never had a particular world to call his home. He grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to him, only the strength of individual merit. He is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables him to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.

This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting him at odds with those that value such things.

Emile saber tells it like he sees it, when he thinks it; and he doesn't try to sugar coat what he says.

Emile saber is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, he doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. He always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around him, and Emile saber is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing his terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Emile saber has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Emile saber then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Emile saber has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.

Emile saber doesn't like to kill people; instead he chooses to injure his opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.
