Although Zxyl Bes'uliik is an adept mechanic and engineer in his own right, he hails from Clan Bes'uliik, a Mandalorian clan that has served as Mandalorian Armorers for centuries. He has an intimate knowledge of the inner works in the construction of armors, weaponry, and equipment, but has extensively studied arcane Mandalorian forging techniques and artifacts. He takes pride in his creations, and has started forging a reputation amongst members of Brotherhood's Mandalorian community for his works.

While not engaged in an active activity, he can be found reclusive inside his forges constructing new armors, weaponry, and upgrades to existing pieces of technology, a true believer that all works have room for improvement; even a little. Zxyl Bes'uliik is an absolute perfectionist in his trade, and will immediately restart a piece should he find the slightest imperfection or malformation a current or previous project because details matter.

As a Foundling Zxyl Bes'uliik is a strict follower of the Mandalorian Creed and ancient Way of the Manda'lor orthodox religion that require him to live by several tenants that define what it means to be a Mandalorian, and never remove his helmet in front of another person. Loyalty to and adherence to the Creed surpass all, including family and friends.

Zxyl Bes'uliik will not fault someone for being a traditionalist or orthodox Mandalorian, but judges fellow Mando'ade on their adherence to the Mandalorian Creed, usually dictating how he will react to most situations. He has been known to invoke the Mandalorian Code of Combat when encountering dar'manda or those that have dishonored themselves by breaking the Mandalorian Creed to ensure a pure, healthy, strong and honorable Mandalorian culture.

Zxyl Bes'uliik may be a mercenary, but he is a Mandalorian commando at heart. He bears a certain seriousness to most situations, and isn't much of a joker. While he can appreciate a good joke, and crack them himself on the odd occassion, it's not often that he partakes in them himself. His jokes are cruel and brutish, highlighting the failures of other.

Zxyl Bes'uliik ain't afraid to call it as he sees it, whether it's a good plan or stupid one, he'll always be brutally honest in his assessment. While some feel this a refreshing and necessary truth, others may find his seriousness, assessments, and unusually brutish jokes cruel and unnecessary.

Zxyl Bes'uliik knows who he is, what he's capable of, and what knowledge he possesses. Stoic and headstrong, proud of his knowledge and abilities - yet not egotistical - Zxyl Bes'uliik is resolute and unyielding in the way he operates. If he knows something can be done a certain way, that's just the way he'd prefer to do it or see it done. He's incredibly resistant to self-change and influence on his mental thought process, refusing to let the opinions or ideas of others influence his decision making.

Zxyl Bes'uliik's ego is not so big as to outright dismiss the ideas offered by others, he just doesn't listen to them, hard-coded to believe his avenue is the only option. While some may salute him for being so steadfast, others might view him as brash or overly stubborn. Being so inflexible in his processes and operations will occasionally lead to stifling of Zxyl Bes'uliik's personal growth.

Zxyl Bes'uliik has trained with various weapon types including miscellaneous, blasters, and bladed weapons, but breaks with traditional Mandalorian style by carrying iconic weapons — light-weapons — into combat and blending use of the unique weapons with traditional Mandalorian combat forms, his athleticism, and every tool in his arsenal to be a capable opponent.

The Iron Beast charges into conflicts - whether small or large scale - head on, and has little regard for indications that he is outskilled and outmatched because of his Mandalorian pride, which leads to much greater risks.

Zxyl Bes'uliik is a well measured behemoth of sheer will and commitment, with an immense level of focus and high level of resolve on his end goal. He allows nothing to stand in his way of his intended target or objective, and isn't afraid to go outside the box when conventional weapons fail or he's restricted of his typical armament, utilizing the most rudimentary items like a hydrospanner or eating utensil.

Zxyl Bes'uliik is unconcerned with collateral damage, procedural norms, or the rules of engagement. He does not care about fighting "clean". His goal is to eliminate the target or complete the objective, with failure not an option that crosses his mind. This brash and somewhat reckless do-it-or-die mentality almost always puts him at an increased risk of a permanent injury or impairment, with minor injuries usually the norm.
