Physical Description

Winch is a tall, cloned, athletically toned Human male with a tanned skin tone, and deep brown eyes. He is cleanly shaven, with no spec of facial hair able to be seen upon him. His pitch-black hair is kept incredibly short in a buzz cut.

On his right cheek is a thin, vertical scar that stretches from the bottom of his jaw, up to his ear. It has healed, leaving a bump over his otherwise smooth skin.

His left arm, right arm, left leg, and right leg have all been replaced with cybernetics.

I'm A Clone, So What? (General Aspect)

Many would question being proud of being a Clone, a person with a lack of proper parents, grown in a test tube with a destiny already set out for them before they took their first steps into the wider galaxy. To be a carbon copy of someone else seems like a curse to many, but Winch understands better than that.

To him, it takes being a Clone to realise that life is whatever one decides to make of it. Even Clones are not the same as the original in every single way, and he attempts to prove that every individual can have their own interests, likes, and dislikes, even among their brethren.

Winch does not take kindly to anyone judging him, or anyone else for that matter, being a Clone, and he can end up shunning people as a result.

A Winch By Any Other Name (General Aspect)

Winch received his name because of his love to get his hands dirty working with anything mechanical. Whether that be, spaceships, weaponry, improvements, or creating something from scratch, it doesn't matter. Winch can be found with a hydrospanner is his hand toiling away, tinkering, and the next thing he knows, it's late at night and it's dark outside.

Naturally, this leads to him appearing more anti-social than he actually is, which is far from the truth.

Clone Wars... (Personality Aspect)

If there is one thing Winch hates above all else, its combat droids. The Clone Wars left a horrifying mental scar that refuses to heal.

When the topic comes up, Winch can become stubborn and aggressive in his beliefs that all combat droids should be destroyed, no matter what their purpose, or what side they are on. In Winch's eyes, they can never be trusted.

He can get so furious about it that he will start arguments with those around him about the topic, making him seem unlikeable to some.

A Blunt Instrument (Personality Aspect)

Winch doesn't try to sugar coat what he thinks and says. He rarely smiles, and carries a hard, serious expression on him wherever he goes. His humor is often sarcastic, delivered dryly against those he's with. He's highly opinionated, and has been known to go against his superior's orders if he believes in a better solution.

This can come across as a lack of respect, but truth be told, Winch believes in honesty. Those who get to know him can appreciate this quality. Those who don't can find him grating.

Good Soldiers Follow Orders (Combat Aspect)

Winch, despite his quirks, is still a trained soldier at heart. He prefers to use his own personally made blaster rifle at a distance in order to gun down enemies. It's a weapon he is incredibly familiar with, and uses to great effect.

Unfortunately, his skills with blasters is limited to that weapon alone. If an enemy can close the distance, or neutralise his blaster rifle, Winch can be left in a world of trouble.

Clankers (Combat Aspect)

Winch developed a distaste for combat droids through traumatic experiences, so he attempted to learn how to deal with them in the most effective ways possible.

In combat, droids will be Winch's first focus. From a distance, he will attempt to slice into them and remove them from the fight. Or, if situations are really dire, he will attempt to pull them onto his side. Failing that, he will attempt to use ion grenades effectively neutralise them.

However, slicing requires Winch to be stationery whilst he works, a luxury that is ill afforded in the field of combat. Winch can be blinded by the task at hand, which leaves his open and vulnerable.
