Dash Kilaeon grew up never knowing his family. He was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to his age, Dash Kilaeon bounced from owner to owner until he became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in his life, Dash Kilaeon has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, he will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises his objective.

Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Dash Kilaeon has never had a particular world to call his home. He grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to him, only the strength of individual merit. He is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables him to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.

This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting him at odds with those that value such things.

Dash Kilaeon has a very bad attitude. He enjoys picking fights and causing trouble, and as such, he isn't phased by most encounters because, let's face it: he tends to be involved in quite a few of them around here!

Dash Kilaeon doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Dash Kilaeon two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Dash Kilaeon often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.

Without the gift of the Force, Dash Kilaeon has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Dash Kilaeon has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.

When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Dash Kilaeon? Dash Kilaeon doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Dash Kilaeon, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Dash Kilaeon isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Dash Kilaeon won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Dash Kilaeon will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
