Current Character Sheet for Vyna Hume
Battlelord Vyna Hume
Vyna Hume has orange-tan skin which is largely covered by a large black respirator, a lean but sturdy body type, and black eyes which are often hidden underneath the characteristic goggles that members of the Kel Dor species wear when away from their homeworld. While often hidden by clothing, Hume's back has a large web of scars resembling lightning radiating out from a single point on his left scapula.
Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, Vyna Hume retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Vyna Hume. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Vyna Hume only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Vyna Hume to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Vyna Hume is not afraid to exploit any advantage or position of power he has when dealing with others, and relies on a combination of fear, intimidation, manipulation and shows of strength to convince others to compromise and lose. Vyna Hume can be quite callous in his dealings with others, and never gives up his power. This has earned Vyna Hume with the reputation of a “bully” and can often make negotiations difficult before they even begin.
Vyna Hume possesses a cold and completely uncaring demeanour. This will manifest itself in the fact that when push comes to shove, Vyna Hume will just as soon leave a struggling ally behind rather than put themselves in danger. While this may ensure his survival, it often leaves him as an outcast amongst his peers.
Vyna Hume vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that he has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
Vyna Hume is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has led him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
