Tessa has an hourglass figure and toned physique. Her dark brown hair is medium length with swept bangs framing a swarthy face with full lips, pale blue eyes, and thin nose. She does not wear make-up though her natural beauty makes it appear so. Otherwise, she has no distinguishing marks.
If it has an electronic circuit or gears,Tessa Drea thinks she can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To Tessa Drea, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. She has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and her confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if she fails to fix something, she is prone to fits of anger and annoyance.
Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Tessa Drea has never had a particular world to call her home. She grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to her, only the strength of individual merit. She is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables her to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.
This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting her at odds with those that value such things.
Tessa Drea is a lateral thinker, and when she encounters problems or dilemmas, she is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Tessa Drea to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Tessa Drea can typically explain and lead others through her plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust her outside thinking.
Tessa Drea is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, she doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. She always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around her, and Tessa Drea is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing her terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.
Tessa Drea vastly prefers ranged combat, taking every opportunity to use skills and Force Powers to disengage from melee and instead fight at range, so much so that she has become competent at staying out of melee in the first place.
Tessa Drea has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only she could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
