Physical Description

Sarthis is of slightly above average height for his species with an athletic build, dark grey skin and one black right eye. He has a scar running down the left side of his face through his left eye socket and continuing down to his chin. He also has faded scarring on his back and legs from a whip or similar item. He has black tattoos on his upper arms in strange writing or symbols, which appear to have been added at different times during his life and have a personal meaning to himself. He also has a faded number branded onto his back, between his shoulder blades.

Former Slave (General Aspect)

Sarthis grew up never knowing his family. He was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to his age, Sarthis bounced from owner to owner until he became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in his life, Sarthis has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, he will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises his objective.

Bothans Do It From Behind (General Aspect)

Sarthis will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Sarthis will not bother confronting them.

Think Through Your Exits (Personality Aspect)

Sarthis doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Sarthis two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Sarthis often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.

All Work, No Play (Personality Aspect)

Sarthis considers his work to be the most important aspect of his life. This borderline obsessions with the "job" leaves little room for any kind of personal or social life, making it difficult for Sarthis to relax and enjoy spending time with others. he excels in activities that relate to their work, but the idea of work-life balance is an altogether abstract concept.

Always Prepared (Combat Aspect)

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Sarthis takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario he might expect to encounter. Sarthis tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and he often finds himself at a loss in situations that go beyond what he could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, his perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

Adaptive Combat (Combat Aspect)

Without the gift of the Force, Sarthis has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Sarthis has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
