Lyra Neros has no home planet, at least not one that she can remember. As a child, Lyra Neros would spend most of her time on different starships and grew accustomed to the atmosphere and nuances of space and the various crafts that traverse it. As a result, Lyra Neros feels more comfortable on a ship than on any planet.

Every legendary story seems to have at least one charming and optimistic character. If that's the case, then it only makes sense that Lyra Neros has decided to be that person. After all, if everyone is too busy whining and groaning about the negatives, how will anyone ever reach the positive? True, Lyra Neros's constant belief that things will get better can be terribly grating, especially to pessimists or those just level-headed enough to realize when things truly are going downhill, but Lyra Neros's constant positive outlook can serve to sometimes spur others to action when it feels like the world just wants them to lay down and die.

Lyra Neros is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, she doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. She always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around her, and Lyra Neros is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing her terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

Lyra Neros is a lateral thinker, and when she encounters problems or dilemmas, she is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Lyra Neros to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Lyra Neros can typically explain and lead others through her plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust her outside thinking.

While Lyra Neros avoids combat whenever possible, she has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Lyra Neros has trained herself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Lyra Neros almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.

Lyra Neros's passion for technology extends beyond his talent with Slicing. She truly believes that wars can be won with technology, not soldiers, and will always try to avoid direct combat if she can afford it. Instead, she prefers to deploy clever traps with Explosives, or turn technology against others as a weapon. Lyra Neros would rather overload a circuit breaker to shock a guard into submission than to test his luck with his hands or a blaster. If removed from technology or her gadgets, however, Lyra Neros can easily be overwhelmed. Fortunately, she has no qualms with throwing a smoke grenade down and running for dear life.
