Journeyman 4, Journeyman tier, Clan Arcona
Non-binary Echani, Force Disciple, Shadow

Physical Description

Like most Echani, Shamiir appears pale of skin, with silver eyes, and light hair that they keep tightly cropped. While their face displays sharp, defined features, the way they carry themselves and their overall physique is slightly more feminine despite their obvious attempts to conceal it. Though shorter than most of their peers, Shamiir's build is ever so slightly bulkier than might otherwise be expected. Much of the skin beyond their face is covered in extremely faint silvery geometric tattoos that seem to only just catch the light out of the corner of the eye, before disappearing again under closer inspection.

Loyalty Is Earned, Not Bought (General Aspect)

While Shamiir will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward their best effort, it’s still just a job. Shamiir's true loyalties lie to their friends, and through thick and thin, they will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Shamiir's trust, putting them at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust their motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Shamiir, though, because loyalty to their friends is not something credits can buy.

Intergalactic Drifter (General Aspect)

Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Shamiir has never had a particular world to call their home. They grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to them, only the strength of individual merit. They are most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables them to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.

This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting them at odds with those that value such things.

You Assume Too Much (Personality Aspect)

Shamiir has a tendency to be secretive and keeps to themself, relying on deception to conceal their motives and intentions. They are a schemer, and plot and plan against others carefully. When dealing with a confrontation, they will try and bluff their way out of trouble, or overcome obstacles with deliberate, covert actions.

Lone Wolf (Personality Aspect)

Shamiir doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on their own. Shamiir sticks to themself, sets their own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, they tend to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to their comrades.

I Know I Put It Somewhere... (Combat Aspect)

Fond of staying alive and prepared, Shamiir keeps several bladed weapons hidden on their person at all times and in all different locations. Shamiir switches these locations periodically in order to maintain an element of surprise even among their allies who know them. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that they are slower to draw one of these weapons if they forget where they stashed them.

Tiny, But Fierce (Combat Aspect)

Shamiir works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Shamiir has learned to not take jabs about their stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for their inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Shamiir's discipline of never overestimating their own abilities or those of their opponents. They has trained to fully utilize their size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. They know exactly how to leverage their weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Shamiir becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.
