Matcha can be very protective, and when any of her friends are being bullied or threatened, she will step in to defend them. This can gets Matcha in trouble when she refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, her friends know that no matter what, Matcha will be there for them.

Matcha's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Matcha has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Matcha a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...

Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, Matcha has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about her situation, or to taunt her enemies. While some find Matcha to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally Matcha will get herself into more trouble than she thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.

Matcha prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While she is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, she toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.

Without the gift of the Force, Matcha has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Matcha has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes her lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.

Matcha doesn't like to kill people; instead she chooses to injure her opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.
