While Hevan Slavis will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Hevan Slavis's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Hevan Slavis's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Hevan Slavis, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.

Hevan Slavis will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, he will stick to the shadows or cloak himself in the Force. The less he is seen, the better. If he cannot sneak up on someone, then Hevan Slavis will not bother confronting them.

Hevan Slavis has a military background, and draws upon his experience to tackle the obstacles in his life. This makes him decisive, efficient, and fearless; provides him with a strong sense of duty and strength; which tends to influence his ability to fight and lead. However, a rigid mind is less compassionate towards individuals and less imaginative, and Hevan Slavis sometimes risks appearing callous, relatable, or incapable of compromising.

Hevan Slavis manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Hevan Slavis will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Hevan Slavis's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.

Hevan Slavis may wear a lightsaber at his waist, but he always goes for his trusty blaster instead, preferring to shoot it out from range rather than trying to get in up-close and personal. Only as a last resort will he go for his lightsaber.

Hevan Slavis is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has lead him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
