J'Kast has pale skin that shows a cold undertone; it's white, but its translucence gives the skin a light blue shadow up-close. His black and grey hair is thin and primarily concentrated above his ears, leaving the crown of his head bald. J'Kast's eyes are a light blue color that borders on grey-blue, as if the irises are slowly fading. Age wears heavily on his face, particularly showing on his forehead and around his mouth. His body is aged and average - not spindly but also not appearing to be fully "fleshed out," either.
J'Kast has both been there and done that. He thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for J'Kast and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.
Despite whatever all his other characteristics may convey, J'Kast retains the air of a person that is confident, if not arrogant. Minor (and often, major) things in his body language - his walk, his stance, his expressions - reveal these feelings. At times, it seems he borders upon narcissism, especially judging from how much he enjoys his own company.
J'Kast has a legendary and virulent need for vengeance. Once crossed, he will make it his life’s work to ensure that whatever slight was received is repaid tenfold. This need for vengeance can be all-consuming, and can often lead to short-sighted decisions.
The Sith rely on their passions to give them strength. J'Kast thinks inwards, only of things that matter to him, and always does what is in his best interests. He feels nothing about hurting others, or exploiting opportunities, and believes himself to be special, and above all others.
J'Kast wears out his opponents through use of the Force, agility, and evasion. Once he has sufficiently tired his foes through the Force, physical, or mental assault, he quickly tries to find a means of cleanly and swiftly dispatching them - usually resulting in a somewhat risky all-or-nothing attempt at a deathblow.
J'Kast seems to get his thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with his opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for J'Kast. No, he wishes to see his enemy descend into madness or kneel before him as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming his opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
