Sephtis is a tall Umbaran cyborg male who stands at a height of nearly six and a half feet tall, enhanced and twisted by the Sith Alchemy he loves so dearly. Like most of his species, Sephtis' frame is lithe, with a pale skin tone that lacks any color from being consistently concealed by his garb. Sephtis has a soft and smooth complexion, marred by slightly sunken eye-sockets. Both his head and body are devoid of any hair, and his eyes a set of crimson irises with an inner ring of fiery orange flakes, surrounding onyx black pupils.
The lower half of his jaw has been separated by a lightsaber, necessitating an uncomfortable custom cybernetic apparatus to breathe and speak. Extensive cybernetics have also been integrated into Sephtis' body with the entire upper right portion of his chest cavity, complete right arm, left forearm, and lower left leg being cybernetic as well.
Some have the belief that the Force is the guiding principle in the galaxy, a power that creates and changes people's destinies based on their standing and actions taken. Sephtis goes against this grain. This Umbaran does not conform to any norms, whether they be social, procedural, technical, or cultural, instead having formed the belief that he alone controls and forges his own destiny.
This freedom allows Sephtis to make choices, moral or otherwise, that others may find hard and not be held back by the notion that the Force does not will him so and therefore he cannot or will fail in his endeavors. Unfortunately, this belief system also forces the Umbaran to take more risks, sometimes putting himself or others in danger needlessly.
Sephtis doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Sephtis sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.
Sephtis considers his work to be the most important aspect of his life. This borderline obsession with the "job" leaves little room for any kind of personal or social life, making it difficult for Sephtis to relax and enjoy spending time with others. He excels in activities that relate to their work, but the idea of work-life balance is an altogether abstract concept.
The Sith rely on their passions to give them strength. Sephtis thinks inwards, only of things that matter to him, and always does what is in his best interests. He feels nothing about hurting others, or exploiting opportunities, and believes himself to be special, and above all others.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Sephtis prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Sephtis rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Sephtis is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Sephtis's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
Sephtis is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has led him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
