Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Marius Apollo Edraven has never had a particular world to call his home. He grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to him, only the strength of individual merit. He is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables him to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.

This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting him at odds with those that value such things.

While Marius Apollo Edraven will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward his best effort, it’s still just a job. Marius Apollo Edraven's true loyalties lie to his friends, and through thick and thin,he will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Marius Apollo Edraven's trust, putting him at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust his motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Marius Apollo Edraven, though, because loyalty to his friends is not something credits can buy.

Despite his line of work, Marius Apollo Edraven still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Marius Apollo Edraven only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.

Marius Apollo Edraven would much rather be behind a hand of good sabacc cards or a rare vintage of aged liquor than with his blasters or ship. More often than not, he will spend nights at high-end establishments gambling, drinking and "socializing". Marius Apollo Edraven can survive without the finer things, but he sure would rather not. This preference follows him onto the job, so it is not uncommon for Marius Apollo Edraven to insult a client or potential partner by commenting on their choice of beverage or recreation.

Even the most gifted of weapon masters understands the importance of physical fitness and disciplining the body with thorough martial arts training. Marius Apollo Edraven has trained vigorously in unarmed combat by fusing Teräs Käsi and Echani with other unconventional forms. While this martial focus helps bolster his prowess in close-quarters combat, Marius Apollo Edraven is still limited in scope when facing down a less direct or ranged threat.

Marius Apollo Edraven possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Marius Apollo Edraven does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let him survive.
