Jak is a human male standing at just under two meters in height, shoulders and back unbowed by his advanced years. His thick shoulder-length hair is more salt than pepper now and his darkly tanned skin is covered in a myriad of old scars from lightsaber grazes to puckered blaster wounds and smoothed over slugthrower holes. Cold, ice blue eyes of someone who has taken their toll on other lives seem to stare blankly at his surroundings until something of interest arrives.
His physique can be described as triangular, broad shoulders, a narrow waist, tree trunk legs and arms. His desire to beat his own aging has given him a desire for fitness that most would find daunting, but has given him a washboard stomach and chiseled, powerful musculature.
Jak Ordo is a master of the 'tricks of the trade' - the cheating and stealing trade, that is. With a certain propensity and natural talent for stealth and thievery, Jak Ordo is a professional when it comes to crimes, from minor to major. Sometimes it is as simple as a few more favorable cards in a hand to a set of sticky fingers to something as big as a heist. Either way, Jak Ordo knows his way around a job. However, everyone is bound to get caught eventually, and reputations have a way of finding a way to bite you in the rear. . . not to mention those looking to extract a little vengeance.
Jak Ordo has both been there and done that. He thinks he has seen every imaginable scenario of war and battle and survived it all, and that nothing can phase him. The daily grind has almost become too intolerable for Jak Ordo and they are prone to lash out at anyone who attempts to coerce them into another adventure.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Jak Ordo's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. He becomes focused and quiet, with his smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Jak Ordo manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Jak Ordo will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Jak Ordo's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around him, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Jak Ordo? Jak Ordo doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Jak Ordo, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Jak Ordo isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Jak Ordo won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Jak Ordo will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
Jak Ordo is utterly devoted to success in combat, no matter the mission, no matter the cost. He has spent his life building himself in the image of war, utilizing a dogmatic regimen that has led him to a single-minded obsession with military success and requires intense physical and mental training. This training, however, has come at the cost of anything resembling empathy or concern for others - even his superiors and subordinates.
