Physical Description

A'lora Kituri is a lavender-skinned Togruta with a lean, athletic physique shaped by an active life of exploration and survival. Her skin bears striking white camouflage markings, forming bold chevron stripes along her arms, shoulders, ribs, legs, and chest, as well as a distinct white stripe that runs straight down from the center of her lower lip to the base of her throat. On her face, white markings fully encircle both eye sockets and join at her forehead, accented by three precise dots—one centered high on her forehead, and one at each dimple near the corners of her mouth. Her amber eyes are keen and attentive beneath a naturally hairless, yet clearly defined brow structure.

Her montrals and lekku form a smooth, continuous silhouette; the short peaks of the montrals' horn-like projections transitioning into a set of three distinct lekku—two draped over her front shoulders and one down her back. The upper portion of her montrals is vividly capped in blue, their ridged surfaces highlighted by a pattern of blue chevrons. These chevrons gradually smooth out and merge into distinct rings, creating a striking banded pattern around the length of each lekku. Her facial structure is sharply defined, featuring high cheekbones, angular contours, and a strong jawline. Thick callouses roughen the soles of her bare feet and palms of her hands, reflecting a life spent closely connected to rugged terrain.

The Prism and the Path (General Aspect)

A’lora Kituri sees the Force not as a river, but as a prism. Through Farsight, she perceives what might be; through Psychometry, her Padawan Oriana glimpses what was; and through quiet observation, they study what is. This triad of vision guides their pilgrimage through forgotten temples, shattered shrines, and half-remembered oral histories.

A’lora does not collect knowledge for its own sake — she tastes each truth to determine whether it is poison to discard, nourishment to preserve, or a seed worth replanting in new soil. Though retaining her seat as a Councillor in absentia, she is now a wanderer — often absent, unreliable in times of crisis, but singular in her devotion to recovering what others let die.

Nature’s Passive-Aggressive Mode (General Aspect)

A’lora Kituri walks into the forgotten places of the galaxy — waystations among crumbling stone, ruined sanctuaries, or wild, overgrown hollows. She alters little and demands nothing, save for the quiet respect owed to those who have come before. Creatures grow used to her steady presence, stones accept her steps. Rain may linger or disperse at her will, mist may shroud or reveal, and cold winds whisper warnings to unwelcome visitors. Over time, the place begins to forget that she is not native to it. Though she neither hides nor repels those who seek her out, her presence often discourages them all the same.

The Beatings Will Continue (Personality Aspect)

While selfless at heart, A'lora Kituri is a staunch advocate of teaching others the tools necessary to fend for themselves, which lends to her harsh training of those under her tutelage. She believes that survival is core to the continuing presence of Jedi, and though her methods might be cruel, her intentions are kind. As the broken bones of countless students can attest to, she has little patience for braggarts and jesters — whose challenges are often met with the butt-end of a quarterstaff. However, this hasn't deterred her colleagues — some of whom have taken to toeing the limits of her humor for their own amusement, or to the delight of onlookers. While the foreign nature of her jokes are often lost in translation, she does value humor as a tool for teaching at the expense of others, but does not take well to embarrassment when directed at herself.

The Wheat That Doesn't Bow (Personality Aspect)

Though she means no harm, A’lora does not suffer fools — nor realize when others think she’s the fool. Social niceties slide off her like water off sun-baked stone. She addresses dignitaries without decorum, titles, or apology, and delivers idioms like “the tree that whistles is not the one that falls,” leaving others unsure whether to nod in agreement or call for a translator.

To A’lora, societal rituals are performance art for people with too much time and too little purpose. She does not bow, curtsy, or flatter—she offers truth as she sees it, unsoftened and unwelcome. In tribal and secular cultures, this earns her trust. In Core Worlds, it earns her offense.

Where she sees authenticity, others see insult. Where she offers silence, others perceive arrogance. She will not explain herself—nor understand why she should.

Stop Trying to Hit Me and Hit Me (Combat Aspect)

A’lora Kituri employs split-second foresight to project precise telekinetic force ahead of her quarterstaff at the exact moment before staff-to-blade contact occurs. Rather than reinforcing the weapon itself, she uses the Force as a momentary buffer—repelling an opponent’s blade just enough to redirect its path. This causes saber strikes to glance away from the shaft, avoiding the direct contact that would otherwise sever her staff. This technique relies entirely on timing and flow; it cannot defend against committed strikes that bypass her predictions or when her staff lacks the forward momentum necessary to anchor the repelling force. In situations where her attacks are stalled or intercepted, she must instead rely on a hastily projected barrier to shield her weapon—an effort far more taxing and difficult to sustain.

Strike Where I Am, Not Where I'm Not (Combat Aspect)

A’lora Kituri prefers to begin her battles long before the first blow. Drawing upon subtle applications of the Force, she is adept at misleading those who hunt her. Whether veiling her presence with soft sensory interference, cloaking her approach in shifting mirages, or distracting opponents with illusory movement, she creates doubt as her most potent weapon. Her enemies often strike shadows or echoes before finding the real danger—if they ever do. While these illusions offer no true protection, they buy her the moments she needs to strike, reposition, or vanish entirely.
