Ali is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing her duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in her decision making. She sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.

Ali can be very protective, and when any of her friends are being bullied or threatened, she will step in to defend them. This can get Ali in trouble when she refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, her friends know that no matter what, Ali will be there for them.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Ali's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. She becomes focused and quiet, with her smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Ali is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, she doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. She always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around her, and Ali is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing her terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

Ali works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, Ali has learned to not take jabs about her stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for her inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by Ali's discipline of never overestimating her own abilities or those of her opponents. She has trained to fully utilize her size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. She knows exactly how to leverage her weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, Ali becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.

Born with an intractable will and limitless courage, Ali will stand in the face of insurmountable odds and never retreat. Despite the fact that such acts of heedless bravery are inspiring and will sometimes result in victories worthy of song, just as often they result in her allies getting wounded or killed.
