Liran grew up without much family, so he made one of his own. He heads up the Neverland Squadron, a motley crew of pilots and mercs. This is his chosen family. In this capacity, he has the self-governed responsibility to ensure the squadron has enough contracts and funding to operate without becoming beholden to a single patron and losing their autonomy. This is a state he zealously guards. At the same time, he's unwilling to compromise his morals to attain those contracts. This can lead to collecting enemies that he brushes off too harshly or end up on blacklists for being too blunt in his declinations.

Liran isn't the type of person to make a plan. Not in so many words, at least. He just keeps moving forward and adapts to what comes at him. His ambition is to just enjoy life and those he chooses to be around. That's simple enough for him, and very easily attained. This leads to him being easily underestimated for having a lack of ambition, or construed as not being strong willed, but this would be a mistake. He is exceptionally stubborn and dedicated to maintaining his quietude. There are no limits to the incredible lengths he will go to protect his desired state, and he will go to war, even with his friends.

Liran lives in his own world most of the time. This earned him the callsign "Glitchrider" as he tends to "glitch out" at random moments and visibly dissociate. While he always has something going on in his internal dialogue, it's generally music or intrusive thoughts, but he can get caught in those thoughts and just zone out. However, that zoning out can also result in a tendency to hyper-focus on his interests, whatever they happen to be at that time. He will dedicate his entire personality to that interest and if you are unfortunate enough to trigger said interest Liran will overshare to the extreme. He won't even be aware of how annoying this is to the people around him and will just talk over any protestations.

Liran is a creature of dichotomies. At first blush, and to most people, he is an exceptionally introverted loner that is at his most uncomfortable in crowds. There's always just so much noise and too many distractions. He'll be very silent and off on his own in these situations. However, amongst those that he has chosen to let inside his shields, Liran can often be mistaken as an extrovert. He pays close attention to the interests and behaviours of his friends, only to use those against them viciously and without mercy to needle and apply insult humour. It isn't to cause them discomfort or hurt them, but to make him and them laugh. It's his love language, and it can very easily be misconstrued as being vindictive and mean by those who don't know him yet.

Liran often takes the highway to the danger zone. He is a skilled pilot and is at his most comfortable when at the helm of a fighter. His awareness and ability lends itself to drawing up a mental map of the battlefield which he navigates through the ideal pathway for maximum damage. At the same time, he is blasting tunes and singing to himself. Even if he's in a full flight. This makes him exceptional in solitary situations, but his coordination can be lacking as he's not always able to or giving enough care to hear what his wing mates are saying. This can lead to dangerous situations or not realizing he's at more risk than he expects.

Liran understands machines better than he does people. At the same time, he recognizes that machines are innately stupid and are only as effective as whoever is writing the code. He sees this as the best avenue for any sort of combat scenario, as most likely whoever wrote the security code was either underpaid, undercaring, or a mixture of all the above. With this in mind, Liran will always try to approach a fight from the digital realm first, because that's where he's confident. This lends itself to his detriment in a variety of ways: delaying the start of a fight too long, wasting too much time looking for a hub to connect, or maybe the systems are stronger than he expected. No matter the outcome, he wants to find the ideal path to succeed and will be avoidant more than anything.
