Hector Von Ricmore is a member of the Thisspiassian species. He has green skin and yellow eyes. He has a thick set of brown hair and a long, bushy, brown beard. The top part of his hair is kept in a ponytail to keep it out of his eyes and forehead. The rest of his hair pools around his shoulders. He stands at a tall 2.2 meters for his species. He weighs 150 kg. His height and weight give him a tall appearance with a thick serpentine tail. He has a series of blaster bolts, lightsaber, and bladed weapon scars from numerous conflicts. These scars can be found along his torso, tail and back.
No plan survives contact with the enemy. Hector Von Ricmore has learned this lesson better than most. While able and willing to plan with his allies, Hector has become adept at coming up with and changing plans on the fly to adapt to whatever circumstances he finds himself in. This willingness for on the fly planning can irritate traditional strategists and leaders. It may appear to allies that Hector is just making it up as he goes along. This isn’t quite true, and while it can irritate some allies it also gives Hector and his allies unprecedented flexibility to tackle a variety of situations.
Hector Von Ricmore is no greenhorn when it comes to dealing with those who wish him ill. At some point, he managed to cross the wrong people, and now they've got a mark on his hide for it. While such experiences have hardened him for adrenaline-filled moments of evading those who seek to make him their quarry, he can never be quite sure if he is truly safe, for promises of wealth or power can turn even the most seemingly stalwart of allies to enemies with knives poised at his back.
Hector Von Ricmore is not a prideful person. He’s fought those stronger than him and lost but survived on numerous occasions. While he has strived to develop his skill set and continues to do so, he has long since had any arrogance beaten out of him. Those who do not know him may mistake this for a lack of confidence or distrust in the capabilities of himself or his team. But Hector has merely learned to avoid underestimating his foe and to adapt to life’s challenges as they come.
During his time in the Brotherhood, Hector Von Ricmore has learned that knowledge is power. He has developed a variety of skills and powers to aid in the acquisition of information; and is willing to engage in actions that some would consider immoral or unethical to acquire more knowledge, as long as it does not put his current mission and goals in jeopardy. These behaviors typically anger more moral and honorable sentients and may lead to Hector making enemies of these people. But the Force user considers this to be a worthwhile risk given the benefits his knowledge brings to himself and his allies.
Hector Von Ricmore has learned that you don’t need a turbolaser to kill a Womp Rat. He deliberately restrains himself at the start of a fight, only employing up to two of his arms. This allows him to conserve energy that he may need later and potentially fill his foe with false confidence; allowing them to be baited into a disadvantageous position. When an opening emerges or he is in true danger, Hector will employ all four of his arms to defend himself and retaliate against his foes. This style risks the possibility of a foe overwhelming Hector before he brings all of his arms into combat, potentially leading to injury or forcing him to escalate before he is ready to do so.
To Hector Von Ricmore combat has a rhythm and flow. He approaches combat as an act of control rather than dominance. Hector begins engagements coiled and deliberate, allowing conflict to unfold around him while he measures intent, pressure, and timing. His four blades move economically, prioritizing interception and positioning over immediate harm, and he is willing to hold ground longer than most to shape the flow of a fight.
When Hector commits, it is with sudden finality. He favors counters and brutal ripostes, drawing opponents into overextending themselves and answering aggression with precise, overwhelming retaliation. He fights strongest against foes who press emotionally or physically, feeding their intensity back upon them rather than meeting strength head-on.
This tactic is not without risk. Hector’s reliance on rhythm and control leaves him vulnerable to opponents who deny engagement, employ wide area attacks, or force drawn-out battles where patience becomes exhaustion and momentum cannot be cleanly turned against his enemy.
