Current Character Sheet for Codah Sinto
Apprentice Codah Sinto
Codah Sinto is a diminutive youth just entering adulthood. Standing just under 1.8m, he doesn’t cut the most intimidating figure. Nevertheless, his body is that of an athlete’s, and he has broad shoulders, a compact build and strong, defined limbs. His head is topped by messily spiked auburn hair and his skin is pale and freckled. With bright green eyes, a button nose, and a pronounced muzzle with seemingly perpetually-pursed lips, he would be considered attractive if not for the scars running across his face - one above his left eyebrow, one across the bridge of his nose and one running from the left side of his lower lip down his chin.
His build is defined and lean - a natural climber’s, and his neck, chest and shoulders are dusted with freckles along with a smattering of hair over his lower limbs and chest. His fingers and hands are calloused; roughened from a misspent youth scaling innumerable obstacles. Similarly, his toes and feet are equally as resilient. Other than the scars running across his face - pale lines reminiscent of claw marks - Codah has a tattoo on the inside of his right forearm; a black geometric symbol denoting him as a slave at one point in his life whose task it was to care for Reeks on an agri-world. He also has a small scar at the base of his neck, just below the hairline, where his slave chip was surgically extracted.
Codah is a former slave of the Besadii Kajidic and wanted both for escape his captivity and in the process killing Junti the Hutt. There is an outstanding bounty for his apprehension or termination and he has to periodically evade those hoping to cash in on the payday. This is obviously a huge inconvenience when operating in Hutt space (and even sometimes out in the wider galaxy) but in some circles he is regarded as a hero for killing his former owner.
His former occupation and main use to the Hutts was as a shepherd to a herd of Reeks, which he has an uncanny affinity with. Codah is as stubborn as a Reek when he wants to be and this intractable nature can at times come back to bite him when he refuses to back down. Similarly, much of his childhood and adolescence was spent around these animals and not much else, meaning he is naive in the ways of the Galaxy.
Codah is naive. There is no other way to put it. He spent the majority of his life enslaved and tending to Reeks and has seen little of the Galaxy outside of the Hutt system. Despite his humble circumstances, he often sees the best in people and is blind to their machinations, optimistically hoping for the best. This innocence is endearing, but as one would expect lands Codah in a world of trouble more often than not.
Wanting to make up for a lifetime of missed experiences, Codah is eager to explore the galaxy, see all it has to offer and truly uncover mysteries. He has an insatiable wanderlust untempered by the fact that the Galaxy is a dangerous place. This curiosity is only tempered by his need to make meaningful and lasting connections with people who fascinate him. Friendship has been denied to him all his life, and he has a strong desire to rectify this.
If forced into combat, Codah is a blur. Relying heavily on the Force, he throws a flurry of attacks at his antagonist, aiming to quickly overwhelm them before they can formulate a counter-attack. This focus on complete offence is devastatingly effective, but leaves Codah utterly exposed if his opponent is able to withstand him or counter the onslaught. Codah is also still a neophyte in combat and not used to adapting strategies should his initial rush fail. It is also limited in scope as Codah is almost exclusively a close-combat fighter, relying heavily on his lightsaber and limited telekinesis to attack.
Codah fought hard for his freedom and is not about to let it be taken from him. His spirit is indomitable and he absolutely refuses to back down, willing to fight to the death to protect the liberties of himself and those close to him. Not knowing when to quit is its own double-edged sword as he has been known to bite off more than he can chew and suffer a sound beating when he could’ve just as easily not chosen to die on every single hill.
