Current Character Sheet for Melinoë Tesalun
Melinoë Tesalun
Spending almost half of her life sequestered away from her family and civilization at large had left its mark on Melinoë in a multitude of ways. The woman’s muscles are visible but subtle, and her tanned body is marred by scars of varying sizes. Most had healed perfectly thanks to her Firrerreo heritage, others had become keloid and were reminders of some of the woman's most traumatizing injuries.
Her hair is thick and unkempt, falling in uneven, unruly shoulder length tresses and curls. Melinoë’s naturally two-toned hair is predominantly black with many almost metallic bronze portions mixed in. Melinoë’s eyes are a warm yellow reminiscent of warm candle light. Atop her cheekbones sit a few Mirialan geometric tattoos.
Melinoë Tesalun doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on her own. Melinoë Tesalun sticks to herself, sets her own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, she tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to her comrades.
While Melinoë Tesalun will see a job through to its conclusion and put forward her best effort, it’s still just a job. Melinoë Tesalun's true loyalties lie to her friends, and through thick and thin, she will stand by them and die for them if needed. This loyalty is reserved for those who have earned Melinoë Tesalun's trust, putting her at odds with other Mercenaries that are only doing a job for the money. This also makes it harder for employers to trust her motives, often times creating extra competition and difficulty finding work. None of it matters to Melinoë Tesalun, though, because loyalty to her friends is not something credits can buy.
Melinoë Tesalun manages to always see the down side to every silver-lining, joyous occasion, or victory. Where some may see a boon, Melinoë Tesalun will often see the curse accompanying it, just around the corner.Melinoë Tesalun's constant pessimism can often lead to conflict and the annoyance of those around her, not to mention the dampening of spirits. However, this mindset is not without its benefits, for a pessimist is far more likely to be prepared for the worst and be left unscathed by it - after all, none are more prepared for the worst case scenario than the ones expecting it all along.
Killing has never been a problem for Melinoë Tesalun; and she kind of enjoys it now, if she is honest. Killing's what Melinoë Tesalun does, and she likes what she does.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Melinoë Tesalun prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Melinoë Tesalun rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect her from dismemberment and death during her all-out attacks. Melinoë Tesalun is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Melinoë Tesalun's blood-hungry ways put her in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
Melinoë Tesalun possesses a single minded drive for victory, and a deep-seated martyr complex. When presented with a chance to wade into battle versus overwhelming odds, Melinoë Tesalun does not hesitate, and instead rushes in, relying on skill, fate or chance to let her survive.
