Current Character Sheet for Aphelion
Aphelion
Pale skin, no eyes, long black hair, slim physique,
Aphelion is a master of the 'tricks of the trade' - the cheating and stealing trade, that is. With a certain propensity and natural talent for stealth and thievery, Aphelion is a professional when it comes to crimes, from minor to major. Sometimes it is as simple as a few more favorable cards in a hand to a set of sticky fingers to something as big as a heist. Either way, Aphelion knows their way around a job. However, everyone is bound to get caught eventually, and reputations have a way of finding a way to bite you in the rear. . . not to mention those looking to extract a little vengeance.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Aphelion. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to them as Aphelion only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Aphelion to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Aphelion has a tendency to be secretive and keeps to themself, relying on deception to conceal their motives and intentions. They are a schemer, and plot and plan against others carefully. When dealing with a confrontation, they will try and bluff their way out of trouble, or overcome obstacles with deliberate, covert actions.
Despite an aversion for physical confrontation, Aphelion has a quick-witted and sharp sense of humour, and never passes up the opportunity to make a quip or jibe about their situation, or to taunt their enemies. While some find Aphelion to be funny and likeable, others do not always respond so warmly, and occasionally Aphelion will get themself into more trouble than they thought when someone takes a joke the wrong way.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Aphelion? Aphelion doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Aphelion, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Aphelion isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Aphelion won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Aphelion will still be winning, the best and most dirty way they know how.
Aphelion seems to get their thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with their opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Aphelion. No, they wish to see their enemy descend into madness or kneel before them as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming their opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
